How many wins in competition mode do I need to rank up a belt?

Plus you will get more experience (I quote the blog as I see that this would be how each win is measured) if you play a competition mode which is accessed by talking to sensei.

You get more xp in a challenge because you may not choose an opponent and ask them to loose for you.

Say:

Floor mat game - 1xp
Challenge - 2xp


Ninja = 100xp


None is real only guessed.

No, It goes up every belt. But remember LOSES COUNT ASWELL.

White belt - 5 total wins needed.
Yellow belt - 13 total wins needed.
Orange belt - 21 total wins needed.
Green belt - 30 total wins needed.
Blue belt - 40 total wins needed.
Red belt - 52 total wins needed.
Purple belt - 64 total wins needed.
Brown belt - 76 total wins needed.
Black belt - 88 total wins needed.

It's different for every belt; the higher the belt the more points you need to rank up. Losses give you points too. The amount of matches it takes to win depends on your amount of wins & loses. So, don't worry how much you need. Just keep playing until you get the Black Belt.
