Alright, one quick question.

As I am a fan of Guitar Hero and planning to buy Guitar Hero World Tour for PS2, I have one quick question. Is it worth to buy the drums and/or microphone that can go along with it, or do you think they aren't the best? I'm wondering if I should buy the drums and microphone or not depending if you think they are good or not.

Thanks!

Can you buy a different kind of microphone and drum set which will work with your game for less?

If so yes.

O.o

That's not what I asked. I asked if buying the drums and microphone are good enough to play in the game, or if they are dull or not.

I bought the whole band kit but the drums were defective so I took it back. I got a store credit and didn't feel like waiting to get the whole band kit so I just the guitar bundle to play it safe from getting another defective drum set. I also heard you could use any USB Microphone and it would work fine(only sure about Wii Version). I'm thinking about getting the drum set when it comes out separately.

If you wanna play it safe you could just get the game or you could go ahead and take a chance with the whole band set.

Edit: The drums played well for the few songs I got to play on them but I didn't get a chance to try vocals.

Thanks, I think I wil get the drums and skip the Microphone.

Couldn't you just use a SingStar microphone which is probably much cheaper?

Well if you want the drums you pretty much have to buy the full band kit which comes with a microphone(for now that is).

Probably but who would just want a microphone(besides people who want to sing all the time)?
