I think it might be a seasonal thing. Soccer Pitch in summer, ice rink in winter. But it's already going into fall and we still have the soccer pitch so I don't know. to be honest, it's not much to me, I don't go and hangout there often. I did when the scoreboard first got here in the first sports party. It was way more fun when you get to keep score and there were official goals. But I'm getting off topic, sorry.

I think they should keep the Soccer Pitch but Add another entrance to the Hockey pitsc so you can play both sports. :).If they Cant do this .Sorry soccer pitch but i prefer the Ice Rink.:P

I only saw the Hockey pitch in CP Videos and i think is was better that the soccer one.. I really want it to come back.. And i hope it will.;)

Or maybe they're doing it the other way around. Soccer in the winter Ice Rink in the summer. Just to confuse us all! Who knows but I loved the Ice Rink by far more.

Personally, I want the Hockey Rink back. Why? Well because when you think about it, the Antarctic is a very very FROZEN place, so if you were to play a sport, it would probably be hockey. I dont think that people would be playing soccer in a very FROZEN place. Its just not a very realistic thing.

I really think CP should bring back the Ice Rink. I thought the Soccer Pitch was only for the games. Ice Hockey relates more to club penguin than soccer.

Here is a response i got from the Club Penguin support about the Ice Rink.

Hi there,

I appreciate that you have taken the time to email us your question. The Ice
Rink is quite a popular feature in Club Penguin and many other penguins would
like to see it come back. As the Soccer Pitch was only a temporary replacement,
the Ice Rink will be returning.

I am not able to release when the Ice Rink will be returning, but I can say
that it shouldn\'t be too much longer. Keep penguin patience and enjoy the
Soccer Pitch while it is still here.

yeah this is a cool idea , they should make two rinks : one Soccer Pitch and other Ice Rink
