LAS VEGAS, Nevada (CNN) -- O.J. Simpson and co-defendant Clarence "C.J." Stewart were found guilty Friday on 12 charges, including armed robbery and kidnapping.
The case involved a Las Vegas, Nevada, hotel room confrontation over sports memorabilia. Simpson said the items had been stolen from him.
The verdicts came 13 years to the day that a Los Angeles, California, jury acquitted Simpson of two murders.
The Las Vegas jury reached its verdicts after about 13 hours of deliberations Friday.
Simpson sat quietly and showed little emotion at the defense table as he listened to the verdicts being read.

Your thoughts?
I'm British so I don't know much about American history, but was O.J Simpson famous at all or is he just a criminal?

This guy needs some help, and majorly. I did a report on him in English last year, about how athletes don't make good role models. :P
It's good to finally get the verdict of GUILTY!

I was watching that live last night, he got pwned.
Serving the rest of his life in prison would be a just punishment.
Unfortunately for him what happens in Vegas
doesn't stay in Vegas!

I believe that once you are tried for something and proved not guilty, you cannot be retried.

He was a famous athlete until he got jealous and killed his ex-wife. It's about time he does some jail time. I'm so glad OJ is going to jail(:

Yes, I'm pretty sure he played football in the NFL. I think it's about time he got convicted. Are American Studies (Social Studies) teacher last year told my class about what he did and how bad he was.

And of course now people are saying that the charges he was brought upon were only a way to "get him", and the jury was biased because of race.
I think we should expect an appeal some time very soon

It is despicable that an athlete of his ability and fame is most know for his criminal activities. There are, however, many athletes that are good role models and give back to their fans and communities. I'm glad that OJ just got what he deserved.

All of you are forgetting that he was acquitted from all charges of felony murder.
This trial was based on charges of him kidnapping, not murder.
