omg... if you download GIMP it screws up all the data on your computer so it renames all pic such as PNG, JPEG and BMP files as GIMP or thegimp20 if anyone knows a solution please help or ill need to call a mechanic it makes all picture files trashy

OMIGOD. YOU'RE JUST GOING TO DIE BECAUSE YOU CANT FIGURE OUT THE FILETYPE OF A PICTURE. WAH WAH "Effing" WAH.

GIMP is a free photoshop. You don't think so because you're just a wittle penguin who can't use it.

GIMP file types are usually .xcf you just have to choose a different file type when you save it other than .xcf, Then it should work... Just manually type .png after the filename when you save it... It should overwrite it...

Ah, Notre Beated me Up and yes as Notre said its right i have Gimp simple to use but at the beggining its a bit hard now look my Sig i made its my 21 Sig XD!

if you think it's a huge deal (which it isn't) then when installing it, choose not to associate any of the image types with the GIMP.

It gave me a virus, but I got rid of it.

Which is weird cuz it's not like its some foreign thing. I have it on my laptop.

I doubt that GIMP gave you a virus. You probably got a virus on that penguin hacking site that you go to for coins.

Everybody has wanted to hack at least once. I did once, too. It isn't as awesome as you think when you want to try it though. Believe me, hacking is good for some people, like ULTRA SANTA, he's gotten pretty far. But everybody wants to try it at some point in life. So don't, you'll regret it.
