DALLAS (2-0) at GREEN BAY (2-0)
Sunday, Sept. 21 | Lambeau Field | 7:15 p.m. CDT

Two of the NFL's preeminent franchises -- and two of the favorites in the NFC this season -- square off in primetime at Lambeau Field on Sunday night in front of a national audience. Green Bay comes into the contest fresh off a 48-25 victory over the Detroit Lions, its second division win in as many weeks. It was the Packers' sixth consecutive win over the Lions. For the second time in three weeks, the eyes of the NFL will be focused on Lambeau Field, as the Dallas Cowboys travel to Green Bay for the first time since 2004. Having as distinct a homefield advantage as there is in the league, the Packers have won 10 of their last 11 regular-season home games.

The Packers hope to keep another winning streak going Sunday night against the Cowboys. They have never lost to Dallas at Lambeau Field (5-0 all-time). Included in that streak is the 'Ice Bowl', the 1967 NFL Championship, played between Vince Lombardi's Packers and Tom Landry's Cowboys. It is widely considered the greatest NFL game of all-time. After Lombardi and Landry turned it into one of the league's great rivalries, the series reached another peak in the 1990s with some great playoff battles. More recently, the teams met last year in the NFC's biggest regular-season game. That contest, won by Dallas 37-27, marked just the second time since 1970 that two 10-1 clubs met.

The Packers and Cowboys represent two of the proudest and most popular clubs in the NFL. They have combined for 17 NFL championships (Green Bay 12, Dallas 5) and eight Super Bowl titles. Dallas comes into the contest off a short week, having beaten Philadelphia 41-37 on Monday night.

So, who do you think will win? Packers (ToM!) or the Cowboys (Vital Viper)?

I am going to have to go with my Green Bay Packers. This is a game I will never forget.

This is Aaron Rogers's chance to prove himself.

The Packers have a strong lineup this year, even without Favre. The Cowboys are good, but Greenbay has a very good chance of beating them.

The Packers have played Minnesota and Detroit. This is the game where he proves himself.

What if they have a tie? Or is that not possible in football?

It hasn't been done in three years, so it's very hard to tie.

I'm going to have to go with the Packers. I wasn't born in Wisconsin (-_-). But, my whole family is from there. So, I'm a natural cheesehead! :D

Packers will come out on top. It will be an interesting game though...

In the end ToM! Prevails

Of course I'm going with my Pack. They have an excellent chance of winning. Rogers is very mobile and if the plays are a mix of run/pass it will keep the "Boys" off guard. Harris has to get REALLY physical with TO to stop that guy. Packers have home field advantage and a fan base that will rock the stadium.

The biggest problem with the "Boys" is their attitude...it stinks! When things are going right they play right. When all the rah-rah isn't working the team falls apart and they start attacking each other. They Packer's coach, on the other hand, is laid back and it reflects in the team spirit.

OBVIOUSLY The Pack. Tony Romo and his line stand no chance against KGB and Aaron Kapman, and theres toooooo much speed for TO and friends in the Packers secondary. Aaron Rodgers will come out on top in this one, and will porve he is already an elite QB in the NFL, not that he has already proved him self to Packer Fans.

I actually think the Cowboys will pull this out. They have a a great offense and defense. they supplied some help with their draft pick Felix Jones. I'm not saying that the Packers are a bad team, (They are a great team overall) but I still like Dallas on this one.

Final score:

Dallas: 30
Green Bay: 23

I wanna go for Green Bay, but I think it'll be the Cowboys, once Rodgers gets more adjusted and if they meet in the playoffs I think the Pack will have a shot.

I'd have to support the Packers. I don't have much against them, but the Cowboys are a different story. I'm a semi-Redskins fan, and I live near D.C. :P

Interesting facts...

~Both Romo and Rogers had to wait three years after being signed, to play as starting QB.

~Romo grew up in Wisconsin watching Favre play. He looked up to him and learned a lot from him.

~Roger's style of play is similiar to Favre's from being his backup for three years.

~Both Romo and Rogers have said that sitting on the bench for a while is benificial to a young QB.

:O What did you bet him? Please don't tell me you guys have to use a Cowboys Avy for a while?

Dallas was the better team...no doubt about it. Cowboy offense wore the Packers out and the Packer offense was innefective. They were out played. Congratulations to the Cowboys.

My uncle was at the game and he said he never saw so many people from am opposing team at Lambeau in the 40 years that he has been going. With a Monday night football game it seemed that alot of season ticket holders sold their tickets to the highest bidder, so there were a hell of a lot of Cowboy fans in the house, he said.
