I happen to have that card. I also have the "MechaMew2" card. I can't remember where I got either.
The ancient Mew card is weird as it doesn't have any English writing on it, just some hieroglyphics.

I have two of these cards, actually. Last I heard, it was one of only two cards banned from use in official tournaments (because it is not in any readable language... even though its attack is "PSYCHIC" and does 40 damage).

The other banned card is called "________'s Pikachu", commonly called "Birthday Pikachu". There are blanks on the card where you can write your name in there to make it your own (and kill the value). The attack is called "Birthday Surprise" and "does 20 damage plus 30 more if today is your birthday", so of course people are just going to say "oh lol it's muh birfday :D" and get the extra 30 damage points.
That card, in Japanese, used to be extremely valuable. Now? Not so much. :P

I had one, no clue what happened to it. I have a box full of sports, pokemon, digimon, yu-gi-oh, and everything you can imagine stored in my apartment. I remember they used to be annoying when they were given away at movie theatres and every kid had one.

I had one of those Ancient Mew cards, I got it at the premiere of Pokemon: Mewtwo strikes back.
And the Pikachu, I almost bought one from a card shop a few years back, but when I went to get it, the store was closed and sold because someone looted the place during one of the hurricanes.
Needless to say, the mew is lost and gone forever, I have no regrets.

Ancient Mew was not from Pokemon: The First Movie, it was handed out with ticket purchases to Pokemon The Movie 2000 (aka "the second movie"). The ones from the first movie was a set of 4, Pikachu, Dragonite, Electabuzz, and Mewtwo. For purchasing the movie on VHS you got a different Mewtwo promo card (they still pack the card in with the DVD version of the movie as far as I know).
I can see why it would make sense for Ancient Mew to be given out with the first film, though... since, you know, Mew was in it. And stuff.

I have the card. I had it in a case for the the longest time. The case started to get torn up though, so I put all my Pokemon cards in a container. Unfortunately my Ancient Mew card was taken out of the box to show to one of my friends. Instead of putting it back, I ended up placing it down somewhere, and lost it.

I had this card, though I lost it because my interest on TCG has gone down. I have the Birthday one, it's in English.
