Do you have a reason for going on forums?

I feel that a lot of people go on forums because they have problems with their lives. They may have trouble making friends, move around a lot and can't get to know people, have trouble at home, or anything else.

Do you post in the forums for a reason? I can't say I do, I just get bored. Hopefully there'll be some slightly more meaningfull replies to this thread than mine.

For me I usually go on different forums for different reasons, some are due to work requires for me to help people after making products, others so that I can occasionally ask for helps from really good programmers. I come here as sometimes it is a laugh to see how stupid some of the threads are, as well as to catch up with MMO environments such as CP without me actually having to log on and find it all out for myself.

My reason is that I like club penguin (that is why I joined), I belong to some clubs/teams, it takes up free time, I enojy it and I like the people on here.

I definately don't have any problems. I don't see my friends as much as the average person would, but I do have lots of friends and I see them whenever I want.

I just come to the forum when I have nothing better to do. (Going to friends houses, football games, movies..etc)

I've learned a lot from the forums though, and I'm glad I started posting on the Miniclip Forums back in May 2006.

I go to forums to make friends with people who have the same interests as me. I could never leave this forum. I have many friends that I would love to meet one day. I will leave when they do, which hopefully won't be anytime soon.

I joined when I had played Club Penguin, now I don't anymore.

The only reason I get on is for the friends I have made, and the responsibilites I hold. I think it's a ton of fun, and I have learned so much while I've been here. It's something to do, and I very much enjoy it.

But really, I come on here to DISCUSS stuff and express my opinions because that's what forums are actually about. The people are fun (well used to be >.>) and what can I say?

Some of the forums have lost their touch and alot of good users have been lost. It slightly disappoints me. But I still stay on. Weird, eh? I stay on because sometimes you don't know what will happen and truly I am there to help and everything. Basically I have nothing else to do so I'm just here. Posting.

I usually just join a forum if it's about something I'm interested in, like Club Penguin or a random video game site. My life just gets boring or hectic sometimes so I just go on forums to amuse myself or get my mind off something...Plus, it's easier to express yourself, since what you say won't really affect your daily life. You can be yourself without the fear of being criticized or made fun of. It's awesome and all the topics are really interesting! :D
