The forums recently made 1 month of existence so I would like to give a simple and short but a constructive overall about what happned this month.
First of all we must say this forum already has more then 1000 forumers which is a quite nice number for 1 month existence only.
Some of those forumers already left the forum, others just came back from an old leaving.
This is all pretty but then we realise about what bad hapenned in these forums.
When the forums opened, the crazyness was geral and the forums were only alive for 30 minutes, then they crashed the server and we had to wait for like 4 or 5 days before the forums become good again.
This means that people were spamming and posting uncontrollablely and all they want was to get the same post number as they had in the old forums.
RFS seeing this, decided to take out the posts ranks, which in my opinion was the best deal and thing he could have done in the forums.
After that the forums calmed a bit. The post a ton spam vanished, and people started to realize that, posting a lot wouldnt take them anywhere.
Then the New Mods were ellected. Vital Viper, I Ate a Fish and SteveTParkin.
Very good choices was probably what you though, and they were in fact, but after some weeks ViTal Viper got de modded which caused a lot of contorversy. A Great forumer that become mod got de modded? Well i cant say why that happned because i dont know what reall happned, even if i do i wouldnt tell since thast NHI and Vital Viper problem not ours.
To replace the Vital Viper, Caboose become the first mod that noone was thinking of. I didnt know him, I saw his posts, he didnt spam but he couldnt make his position clear in this forum, so i though it was a weird choice till i saw him moderating. Now he is a great mod that I know he will work a lot for us and for the Community.
The days were passing and even aftar we had the chance to close the eyes Fish was already leaving. This was probably the most shocking thing that happned in this month. A great guy, a great moderator but upon all a great forumer, he left us to organize his life. We all know he will be missed and this is to sad to talk about...
To replace Fish, Balthsar became mod. A great forumer, in my opinion i though she would be the first one to be ellected, but looks liek things werent that simple. I must say shes has been doing a great job cutting down the spam, so Balth thank you very much!
Yesterday 2 new mods were ellected FunnyBoy and NotreDam. Well this is like with caboose, i cant say nothing for now, only after I see them modding the next month i can give my opinion about them.
So this is a simple and brief summary of what happned in the forums, in this month so If somethign happned in this forums but it isnt in this summary, please discuss it in this thread.
