i was just thinking alot of people are probley going to rant but i just saying please dont take this as a infence. ok anyway im just thinking cant like 9 year olds play clubpenguin and at that age the might not be as smart. so my point is lets say a 9 year old is playing and there judging somone because they have "rare clothes then mabey that 9 year old might think its real and start judging humans about there clothes thinking its ok? so does anyone else agree?

club penguin didn't start this, little kids did, so it's not cp's fault and there's no way to end it. There will always be noobs saying that and little kids bragging about clothes. And no, I'm sure it wont effect them in real life.

Ok, I don't think kids will get life mixed with a game, no matter how young.
Two different things my friend.

Games and life don't mix unless you play the game non-stop. It's not really a problem.

Club Penguin aren't doing anything. And that's probably why there's been a lot of returned items recently.

No. Not at all. It wouldn't effect reality unless you're smaller than 9 and play the game. Like maybe 6.

Well if Club Penguin has a down-fall its that. A large part of the game is clothes, items, pins, etc. The game seams to encourage consumerism to an extent. This tends to lead to cheating or penguins trying to get ahead. Its possible that this can influence kids real-world behavior.

That is a problem though. Some kids do play the game non-stop. Even if you don't play 24/7, your brain is still getting secret messages. What you put into the brain is what you get out.
Fortunately, Club Penguin has done a lot to stop rule breakers by banning them and so on.
The game teaches a lot to kids, far more than it does bad. (don't get me wrong, Club Penguin is great)

I really don't think 9 year olds would think that, I can remember when I was 9 and 9 nine year olds act more mature than you think. Lso, my little brother is 5 and he would not think that either. Maybe if it was a 3 year old, but 3 year olds don't play club penguin.

maybe, but if they are that impressionable then they will probbaly only judge real penguins by there clothes... which won't be much of a problem
I think most nine year olds are more intelligent that you think... Well some are

They think that clubpenguin doesn't program it into their minds.

Ok. Most 9-year-olds are LESS smart then I originally guessed them to be. Like, 90% of them.

Unless the rest of the worlds population consists
of 50x50 pixels shaped like penguins I don't
think there should be any problems.

It won't affect the players. Trust me.

No I don't think this will affect anybody's "real life" life.
First off, it's a kids game. Second, it's worse in real life.
It's not going to hurt peoples feelings if you call them a "weirdo".

you see your not getting the point 9 years old was a example what if there is a younger kid playing and they think its ok to do it on the game so mabey in real life its just a thought it would probley not happen im also not blaming clubpenguin its just what if that does happen because the think its ok?

What it comes down to is that the feeling of jealousy is not something CP gives them, it is something they already have.
People often do judge others on how they dress, that's just a part of life.
I think CP does a good job of putting people on a level playing field. CP is a great opportunity for us all to get along regardless of race, culture, or disabilities. Someone who is really raciest could play CP and end up having his best friend be African American and he would have no idea.
