Bigger newspaper?

I have played cp for around a year and a half, and i used to find the newspaper quite interesting, The questions were original and sometimes the comics were quite funny.

Howevere more recentley the newspaper is starting to become repepertive, the questions are obvious and are repeated every few months and i've stopped reading the comics, jokes + riddles, the revolving puzzles have been a good addition but cp should stop at that.

I have some suggestions which could be used to make the paper more interesting,

. More Articles, i don't mean more wierd quotes from a random penguin about how awsome a party was i mean things like, maybe a article about a certain item a week, or something like cribs on MTV where people show of there igloos..(?) these are just some ideas.

. Original questions, i would say that 95% of people know how to get "those cool viking helmets" and don't need to be told every month. Its meant to be a secret item and if someone really wants to know how to get it, it won't take long to ask someone or just look on the forums. How about questions about any future partys coming up, and i know people supposedley ask these questions but cp pick which one's to answer.:|

. More Puzzles, things like sudoku would be good and maybe the first say 10 people to complete it get a special item. I know CP don't like limiting the amount of items because people get angry, (just look at the back stage area in the music party) but i think it would be a good addition

.More Competitions, this is a bit like above but there should be more costume compitions or things like dancing... well maybe not dancing but some new stuff.

. More Hidden things, Clothing or a pin could be hidden in some copies of the newspaper, like there was a few years ago with a christmas tree i think.

Well thats my current suggestions, and any advice or CONSTRUCTIVE critiscism is welcomed, :)

I agree. The penguin times is getting boring. They should add some more puzzles, better FAQ's from Aunt Arctic, and more contests.

You know what, I never really thoguht about that but now that I think about it, the newspaper could have some more imporvments, I mean I don't think I read the newspaper anymore it's just like what you said it is.

Yep, i think we've changed more than the paper, we are just used to seeing it and ignoring, it hasn't changed much at all. Newer players might not find it boring now but they will eventually.

the cp news should come with at least secret items and other fun stuffs that would make it more interesting i mean its getting really boring reading it and theres nothig interesting and the jokes well their also boring :(
