How do you download things from the internet with your 360? I wan to get Standoff and Rats Nest for Halo 3, but need to download them. How?

Do you have Xbox live? I think you would need that connection.

If you have a modem you connect to your xbox on your by connecting it to the ethernet port(it should have come with a cable) and modem. Then you need a windows live account if you already have one you can just use that for your profile. to make a profile(one your connected the the internet) you make an xbox live account. than go to marketplace and get the free maps in the halo 3 section in all games. ps. dont forget to get cold storage.

What's a Windows Live Account? And my 360 came with the ethernet cable.

1. You will need to have at least a silver account (just an account set up on the xbox internet).

To plug it in for internet just get the Ethernet (rectangle output, usually blue) and put it in the xbox 360 from your modem, router what ever.

2. Make an account its when you start up you are asked. now open halo 3.

3. Press Start |>. Goto market place. Theres a list of stuff to download.


Note: If you goto the dashboard and goto the market place tab then goto "Game Store" - "All Games" - then choose a game for stuff to get about it.

no u cant donload stuff for forg but your xbox 360 should come with a free month of live so u get the live equipment you get live for a month u get all the maps and stuff u want and after that month live gos byebye and you shuld still hava the maps hope this helps
