I'm thinking about buying a new Pokemon game to try it out.
What do you suggest?
I'm not caught up with new pokemon, leaf green is the newest game I've played.

I want one like the old ones, but with new Pokemon. :P

Diamond and pearl are the newest ones and there are for DS. If you beat the elite four and see all 151 pokemon of the game you can caught the old pokemon but you can transfer your pokemon from leaf green to it

You don't need to see all 151, just 150. I think the one you don't have to see is Manaphy.

I suggest getting Diamond. I wasn't all up to date with all the new Pokemon, but I caught on pretty quickly. A lot of the old ones are in the game, too.

And, seeing 150 Pokemon sounds hard, but as long as you fight all the trainers along the way, you should see them all.

If you're really stumped about a new pokemon, just look it up on Bulbapedia. That's what I always do.

Think of the new pokemon in diamond like infernape,empolean,torterra and ledgedaries like darkrai,Heatran,Giratina,Mesprite and more. I have diamond so thats how i know. I think there's no difference between diamond and pearl.

It's not insanely huge, but there are some pokemon you can't get in one while you can in the other. ;)

From what game did you transfer it from?

Fire-red, I also transferred all my other legendaries from it too. I just use pp up to make my defense unstoppable. Thats a tip. But The way the difference from Diamond and Pearl is palkia is in pearl and dialga is in diamond and bagon is in pearl and Omantye is in diamond.
