I haven't eaten in two days. I've just been drinking a lot of water/fluids - I'm sick to my stomach all the time, but I'm never hungry. It started at the beginning of this week, and my mom kept forcing me to eat things until I finally said I didn't want to eat anything anymore because my stomach hurt too badly to want to eat. I'm not anorexic at all, either; to be honest, I love eating. But I only weighed about 120 lbs when this began and I've already dropped a jean size, so I'm afraid of what might happen.
I know all of you reading this are just like, "Well then just eat something, you idiot", but I can't - I feel like if I eat something I'll just throw it back up. But I don't feel actually sick at all other than my eating issue. Everything else is fine, no temperature, no other signs of being ill whatsoever. There was nothing to trigger this that I know of, so it's just like it randomly started about a week ago.
I tried to eat ravioli yesterday because I was getting worried about myself when my jeans wouldn't fit right, but I only ate one or two and had to stop - just the thought of eating disgusts me. I can't go to the doctor because it takes like... an hour or two to get to the nearest one, and I don't want to use gas money that we don't have on some weird eating thing that I have.
Any suggestions? Is this serious, or ... not?

It might be serious.
Tell your parents. They'll know more. Also eat.

It sounds serious. Are you puking? If you are then it's definately serious.I'd go to the docter. You probably got it from not washing your hands.
Oh BTW
I don't think a forum full of 13 year olds should be giving medical advice so you might want to go to the doctor. :P

No, I'm not puking.
And I'm not asking for medical advice - I just wasn't sure if it was something to worry about.

Oh:blush: well it sounded like it :P Well then in that case I think it is something to worry about.A human not getting hungry isn't normal.I'd go tothe doctor.

I lost my appitite a while ago, and couldn;t get to sleep. It lasted four days. In the end my mom took me to the doctor. Maybe just tell a parent. It sounds sorta serious. Not eating... Tell a parent.

I think one of my friends had something like that. She had to go to the hospital, since that is where the doctors are in my town, and they gave her some medication things.
Or, if anything, call a doctor and see if it is something to worry about.

That sounds exactly like what happened to me a month or so ago. I wanted to eat, but just thinking about food made me feel sick. It lasted about four or five days then it went away on its own. If it continues then you should definitely go to a doctor though. People can only go a few weeks without food. Just keep drinking liquid, because you can't survive for more then a week without water.

Does your stomach actually hurt, or just feel sick? If it does, then I'd go see a doctor.

Yeah, my stomach actually hurts. I just weighed myself and I've lost five pounds, but my mom says it's normal for people to stop eating sometimes during the summer because of the heat.

Well, I have kinda experienced the same thing.
I suggest to still suggest drinking liquids and each day gradually build up on thicker/solid food. Like move to smoothies and use fruit to give you protein like bananas. move on to snacking on small foods like crackers at first then maybe bread. Possibly next try a little meat. The finale would be eating something that you like or used to crave alot.
I don't know though, this girl at my camp experienced the same thing and fasting IS common but if you start puking I do suggest telling your parents and maybe googling it x]

Yeah, it's normal. You probably just have heat stroke. Wait a few days and keep us updated. When I'm sick, I never eat and I feel the same exact way. Don't worry about it and relax. :)

It could be a reaction to something you ate or smelt........ you never know when it comes to having a problem with eating  It could be anything, but I'd say heat stroke. ;) Hope you get better soon :D

Talk to your Parents, this isnt something you want to take a chance with. I'm sure they are smarter than us. ;)

I know what your going through.
You seriously need to see a doctor.
Once you do, request for an Upper GI to check your digestive track.
Maybe get some blood work done too. Check for diseases that cause these symptoms.
I talked to my mom, she works at a hospital, and says this is what you should start out with.
I hope you get better, it sucks not knowing what's wrong.

I tried googling your symptoms but I got absolutely nothing. The only thing besides bulimia or anorexia I could think of was viral flu, but that really doesn't last that long, in most cases it only lasts a day or two. Another thing that kept popping up was pregnancy, but most of the people could still eat they were just sickened by some foods.
So I really don't know. Maybe try Yahoo Answers?
Or you could go to the doctor who will give you pills that will eventually kill you. o.o But we all die anyway, right?

I had to go to the hospital for when ever I ate anything, I felt so sick, but
I wanted to eat! I went last December and when I went into the hospital, they
put me on an IV, and I didn't eat for the whole time I was in there. I lost like
10 pounds! They did alot of test and everything came back negitave..
They said to try to not have so much dairy because sometimes that does it :P
I know how you feel, and I know how it feels not knowing what's wrong with you. [I still get it sometimes]
