A stupid thing to do is complain that a few children on a pixelated online game are flashing hearts at each other, and that you're obviously super-immature mind can't even handle that. I know I will probably get the same old 'well its a kids game' response for this, but that doesn't matter. If this were an actual problem Club Penguin would've done something more serious about it by now.

If you don't want to actually enjoy the game by role-playing and you just want to be mr.cool pixel penguin and meet mods, and become famous, you go ahead and do that. I will stick to role-playing 'mom and dad' and all other types of fun stuff. The heart emote is there for a reason, and it is being used for exactly that.

Some penguins abuse the heart emoticon but it seems that even the '13 year olds and up' here aren't smart or mature enough to ignore it or report it. If you can't do that, you have the IQ of an actual penguin and you shouldn't be allowed near a computer.

Dude, I totally agree with you. These people most likely are not little kids. Little kids aren't old enough to understand dating. They're probably 10 year old losers who have nothing better to do with their spare time than get a girlfriend on CP.:P I say we get rid of the <3 forever. Of course, I don't really care too much if they do nothing about this. I'm still going to play CP no matter what. I just don't think it's a good thing to let a game for kids be invaded by dating.

Nobody is trying to flame you, this is a debate-worthy thread, therefore we shall debate. You cannot post a thread like this unless you are willing to backup what you have to say yourself with good points and solutions. If you do not have those things, why post the thread at all? The game will never turn into 'date penguin' because half of the dating words are filtered and it's no harm at all. All email info and numbers are filtered so it's not like somebody is going to meet up in real life with somebody they met on a child's game. Not even a kid is that stupid.

It's getting worse every day. Some random girl came up to my friend and kept hearting him. We left but she followed us and told him she, " lo ved him." We ignored her but she still followed us.

on club penguin i think they should not remove it because people on the forums [here] have to be at least 13 years old to join and with over 10,000 members you see how many people over 13 play club penguin and have seen this forum. If alot of people are over 13 i think it should not be a problem but if not so many people are over 13 then i think that could be a problem if they said something with the heart emote otherwise it's fine with me.:D

and of course not all people on this forum play club penguin that much..

Let the children who play the game have their own fun, finding other friends and doing gf/bf stuff is their own business. Even if someone comes up to you and does the heart emote to you, you could just ignore them or even feel special that they think you look nice.:rolleyes:
