If you have been in a tornado, do the poll up there. Tell what kind of tornados have touched your area. Post a picture if you want.
Heres a big bad one, that hit us last summer.

Where I live, we can't get tornadoes because of the mountains. :)

(the may 3 1999 one) it was so scary! we had to get in a ditch
it looked more like a blob than a tornado
when I was in toronto we had a f0 twister
not to mention the greensburg one.
after that one we left the US

I have a body of water surrounding me on all sides, so tornadoes usually don't form around Long Island.

Tornadoes can be creepy.
Story: One tornado picked up a baby crib and it floated 50 ft in the air and set it within 5 miles without waking the baby.

There has been a cuple of light ones but im glad theyre not severe and we never experienced it here
on the montel williams show there was this lady and her daughter that had been driving in a tornado and they got lifted in the air by it the car was badly damaged but they faced minor injuries
(hope they had car insurance:))

Not sure what type it was, so I just put F1 because it wasn't severe, the winds weren't overly bad, and it did little to no damage.
But ya, a few years ago on May 24th, a severe thunderstorm hit. There were 5 funnel clouds that I saw through my front window, and the only one that touched ground was thankfully in the river valley just outside of town. Stupid prairies and their thunderstorms and weather and stuff..

Lot's of tornado watches/warnings, but we have never had one. We usually get hurricanes, not tornadoes.

How was it like being in that tornado. That is pretty scary, because tornadoes are very dangerous.

Horrible wind gusts and tree's ripping and lighting flashing and hail as big as a golf ball. That one was very bad. Not as bad as an average kansas tornado. Ohio has rarely tornadoes. Yet powerful ones

We live in the mountains, but once while driving on 1-80 in Iowa, there was this big wedge tornado at night. We could see it it visible due to lightning. All the cars parked onto the side. After 5 minutes, the wind and rain was gone.
When we got to a hotel in Omaha, the weatherguy said there was a strong f-3 tornado near I-80. It scared the nuts out of me

I don't get tornadoes, thankfully, where I live. But when I went to Colorado, I saw a tornado shaped like a funnel headed to our hotel. They didn't evacuate us, but the power did go out.

There was a tornado in NYC!? Hopefully it wasn't major because all the building would be nailed.

No luckily,
We had like 34778934 tornado warnings in my trip to edmonton, yet not 1 tornado hit :|
They need new meteorologists
I you lived in texas, like RFS then you probably had the same number of tornadoes we had warnings

I was on holiday when hurricane Wilma struck. The liner said that the holiday wouldn't be canceled but departure time would be earlier, to try and avoid the worse of the Hurricane. It was a Category 5 and I was on a cruise liner in the middle of the Caribbean when it struck badly.Luckily the boat managed to avoid the worst, it was very choppy and extremely windy, everyone was called inside and was told to stay away from outside doors. Afterwards the cruise went on as normal except we had to miss one island as the docks had been damaged and were not safe, the weather continued to be windy all the way through the holiday. Some of the islands that we visited were not impacted as much but there was one that had been totally destroyed.
