2.0 was resently released! It lets you download extra apps. Some at a cost, some free. It adds the App Store and fixs up some other basic stuff i.e the calculator. Even though you could have the App Store by jailbreaking your iPod, jailbreaking didn't have NEARLY as good as the apps IMO. Jailbreaking wouldn't be classified as "hacking" because it was completly legal. Not sure now so thats why I upgraded. Did anyone else upgrade? If so what apps have you bought?

I sugest getting Crash Bandicoot and the Poker game under the favorites. Then go look under the Free ones and browse around.

Oh, and by the way, updates for the ipod are 20, but for the iphone its free. Grrr. :shout:

I don't see the point in upgrading :rolleyes: because, in a few months, there will be another version, then another, etc. So, if I were to upgrade, I would wait until it was significant enough, such as a new look, more capacity, etc. Apps = you can live without them. Just what I think :cool:

I'm actually waiting for new models, then I'm gonna buy an iTouch :D I'm saving up :)

I dont want to get on because you never know with apple. They will come out with a better one the second you buy it. Its to stressful :rolleyes:

When you say iPhone 2.0, do you mean the iPhone 3G?

We mean the 2.0 software, not neccesaraly the 3G.

I upgraded mine. I love it.
