Esme & Edgar's Circus of Fantasy
A countinuation of Sea Side Academy for the Gifted (http://penguinforum.miniclip.com/showthread.php?t=51334)
Sequel is Sea Side Students on Vacation
WE ARE FULL

Info: After the fireworks show, a woman by the name of "Esme" approached the group who had performed. She talked them into doing one show for her circus. Little did the students know, Esme wanted more than just one show. She wanted show after show after show, for as long as they lived. She had special indestructeble bands put around their wrists and ankles that don't let them use their powers unless for a show. The 8 Sea Side Academy students are no longer students, they are slaves to the all powerful Esme.

Rules: are the same as last time, but in addition to those rules, I would like to add: You cannot go nutso on anybody! Which means no posting " I broke free of the bands and used ma powaz to get free!" no. You can't do that. That would be godmodding or powerplaying or something. So you can try to escape, but it won't work. I will give the que when we can escape;)

Setting: wherever the circus travels to. It travels all over the country, so be prepared to see some sights;) They usually stay for about a week in each place, using the first day to set up, the last day to pack it all up again, and all the other days in between are for performances. The gifted live in small, cramped, itchey tents, that hold 4-6 people(comforatably). The tents are split up by gender.

Plotish Type Thing: It's been 3 or 4 months since the gifteds were tricked into becomeing slaves for Esme. They've tried to escape using their normal, non-gifted force, but it never works. Not even trying to act up during shows works! Every time they try, something in their mind makes them stop. The gifteds suspect that Esme and Edgar may have gifts of their own, but what are they? Esme is in charge of all human related activities, and Edgar is in charge of animals, props, stunts etc. During shows, and when going outside their tents, gifteds are required to wear a mask(the one they use when performing).

Characters: Ok, before you act, please be descriptive in your characters outfit. Of course it's going to be different from their normal attire:rolleyes: your show outfit should be showy and flashy and dazzling:D. If you're joining, first take a look at the previous thread too see what you can be, then fill out the list there. You have to start out as someone in the circus though;). I will be playing Esme along with my other character

'Gift': Water & Ice, also can fly
Species: Lightly altered human
Looks: pale skin and long black hair dropping to her waist the air around her is cold as is her skin, she always wears ice-colored robes. She has wings with feathers.
Extra Info: This run her family, one child per generation has powers of ice and water and can fly

Character Name: James Jager(call him JJ please)
'Gift': Werewolf, but can transform when he wants. Plus some wolf attributes carry over to his human form, like super smell and being stronger

Looks: Tall, light brown hair, crystal blue eyes, usually wears jeans with light shirts
Extra Info: Never gets cold(yeah this werewolf is like the one in twilight)

Zoey wandered outside her tent, ajusting her glittery red and gold mask as she went. She sighed and looked out at the barren landscape before her. Typical fairgrounds. About 50 feet away was the gigantic circus tent. a little ways to the right was an opening, which was where she would be entering 30 minutes from now. She sighed. How much longer can we endure this? she thought.

She also had on elbow length purple gloves, purple flip flops, and a white hair band that held her hair in a ponytail, "If I had parents they'd be so worried right now..."

Makin had a special suit on that has holographic so it looked like fire. It also had a boatload of red and orange glitter on it.

EDIT: Oh yeah, Slider, I don't think you should let anyone else join. It's already kind of full, and RPGs get crazy when too many people join. Just my opinion though.

The crowd cheered on. "Fight, fight, fight!" Jimmy tried to resist it.

I... can't... take... this....

Jimmy lifted a large boulder and kicked it at Esme. She jumped out of the way and pressed a button. Jimmy was then shocked.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Jimmy fell to the ground. Two clowns dragged him out of the ring and threw him in the back by the sleeping tents.

Zoey and the rest of the group were beckoned into the tent by one of the security guards. She spotted Vincent and Jimmy fighting. "Guys! Guys! Stop it!" sh.e said, running over to the two and trying to block them from getting to each other. A little ways away, Esme's smile faded into a frown.

I escaped a couple months ago... I ran for my life. They couldn't catch me. I made thousands of barriers that they'd never find me. But when I left, I knew that Esme would trap more special beings... So I came back to stop her. But I was too late... I was caught when I came back, though... So now, if I ever escape again, if I can take these bands off... I will kill her... I have seen, heard, and felt things that I shouldn't have in a lifetime... She deserves pain herself...

"How can she expect us to do this?!"
*He continued to fire balls, he then On purpose Fired one in the direction of Esme. He then turned invisible And sent Energy around him so it looked like the energy flew in the shape of a human. He then flew around in circle. Then landed. The people cheered, except Esme. Who was frowning.*

Zoey was attached to an invisible harness. Esme qued her in. She ran into the ring and jumped up into the air, the harness holding her up in the air. She engulfed her hands and feet with fire and started to flip and twist and turn in an awsome acrobatics performance. When she was done she went back into the practice ring. "I feel like a stupid circus monkey..." she said.

Kimberly came running over, "Am I late? Oh no, it's my turn!" She ran into the ring and the crowd cheered. Kimberly rolled her eyes.

She engulfed herself in a ball of water and rolled around the ring a little bit, then started to leave. Esme shook her head and pointed back to the ring, the crowd wanted more, "I don't want to do more!" Kimberly screamed, "That's my act, now I'm done!"

Esme just stared at her and suddenly Kimberly screamed in pain and fell to the floor. A few men came over, picked her up, and carried her backstage. They pretty much threw her into the tent and walked away.

James came running past the group, his clothes were ripped and ragged.

When James entered the ring, Five flaming hoops were set up. He morphed into a wolf and with a running leap jumped all five.

Next a lion was set loose. James and the beast circled each other for a few minutes then charged. There was a mixture of barks and snarls.
A few more minutes and there was silence, then the crowd bursted out cheering.

James walked back to the others in his human form, he had many scratchs over his arms and legs

Kimberly had been in the tent when Flare was thrown in. She ran over to him and knelt down, "Flare, Flare, can you hear me? Come on, Flare, wake up!" When he sat up she sighed, "This is insane, how can she do this to us without the guilt killing her? Locking up humane beings, making them perform like circus freaks, and torturing us if we don't. And even more, who comes to these shows? Who enjoys seeing us forced to do this!"

Jimmy thinks about what Vincent said about fighting Esme. He walks up to Vincent.

It won't be as easy as you think, Vincent. How in the world do you think she got these shock bands? She created them herself. She is a special being... She just doesn't show it. I struck her down once before. It wasn't pretty. She had tortured me during the show that night. I was furious. So I hit her. She was so mad. I cried for weeks after that. Her face was wicked. She has untamed power that you and your friends havent seen. If you're going to try and fight her..... I'll help you.

Makin took a long hard look at the bands.

"Yeah, They're indestructible alright, made of a metal that only technopaths can create. They probably have neutralizing fluid in them. A very rare liquid."

Makin tried using his powers again. Instead of making fire he used the candle in the tent, he took it and made it float around the room, he got no shock.

"Exactly! It can't neutralize when you use your powers with outside objects! That's why Jimmy can make rocks float with these bands on!"

Flare woke up. He saw Esme walk by. Then, suddenly, something triggered his temper. He flew toward Esme, the chains snapped in half. He shoved Esme into a post, he knocked something out of her hand. He used his mind powers on Esme, although it had no effect. Esme shoved him in the tent, shocking him, and repairing the broken chain.

"No, I do, I just don't trust you. If we keep doing the show we won't die, we can stay alive. I just don't trust him, I don't think I ever will. He and his no good wife can just leave me alone!" She storms out of the tent and brushes past Edgar as she leaves.

He grabbed Zoey's wrist, and twisted the chain around til he got to a certain part, then clicked it open. He did the same with the 3 on Zoey's wrist and ankles. "Who's next?" he asked, holding the chains in his hands.
