As many of you may know, the NEW iPhone 3G JUST came out today. I plan on getting it this week, if not, the next. The new iPhone 3G, as you can tell from its name, uses a 3G interface and has a GPS system. (Yeah, i'm an Apple geek..) Unlike the old iPhone, which sells for a good 500$, the new iPhone sells for half as much. You can get it for 200$ if you get a 2 year agreement. Although it may seem cheaper, the plans for calling and texting are not.

You can find a complete list of specs here (http://www.apple.com/iphone/features/).

We got it here at about 2am yesterday. You can buy them for about $150 I think, give or take, but the plan is terrible and plus, it's on Vodafone which has the worst plans out of all the different ones in NZ. (Actually there's only two different companies).

Edit: I just found out: The call plan is so bad it costs $250 a MONTH!

The old one uses EDGE/2.5G which means a slower network, and the new one uses HSDPA/3G network, which means faster network.

LOL
