My first one was Chimchar.I have chosen the fire pokemon in every Pokemon game I played.
When I could trade with other people, my friend gave me a lv 1 Charmander.It is my first pokemon that reached lvl 100.Infernape is the 3rd.
BTW, I didn't evolve my Chimchar till level 30, it learned flamethrower naturally :D

Other that Diamond and Pearl,

My very very very first pokemon, was, was my Charmander, from Pokemon Red.
He is now a Charizard, and I still have him.
I evolved him on my Birthday, about a decade ago.

My first D/P Pokemon, was Chimchar.

I chose Piplup but I have this awesome idea:
1.) Get an Action Replay
2.) Get the "pokeball works like masterball," "walk through walls," and "all wild pokemon are 'x'" codes.
3.) First, make the "all wild pokemon are 'x'" code Pikachu. In this case, get the code for Pikachu and add it to the code.
4.) Now, put in the next two codes and start a new game.
5.) When you're supposed to go get your new Pokemon, walk through walls so you can go to the wild.
6.) Walk in the grass until you encounter a Pokemon.
7.) Use a Pokemon; you should catch a Pikachu.

If the game freezes, just start it again.

Mine is only level 13, I have stronger Pokémon in my party, but I have my piplup there because it knows cut.

I got a Piplup. I also have a Quilava that my friend traded m and i had to raise it from lvl1 Cyndaquil and it already naturally learned Flamethrower when he gave it to me.
