Avatar help

I got a problem.U see Like I made this awesome avatar thing for my avatar but it says its not Valid.I made it from paint and I can shrink it but I dont know if I need 2!Please help me this goes so well with me!-_-

Do you have it saved as a jpeg? not all formats are acceptable

Ok but how do I save it to that type of file the file it is right now is BMP how do I change it?:O

Do you have Adobe Photoshop?

To change from BMP to JPEG in paint you must:
1.Open the avatar(picture) in paint!
2.Click File Save As and choose JPEG format!

what I usually do, is since I have Microsoft Office Powerpoint, I copy the avvy I made in paint, and paste it into the Powerpoint, and then right-cluck the avvy i made, and click save as picture
