Whats the best part of a video game?

What part of a video game do you think is better the graphics or the gameplay.In my opinion i would say gameplay.

I have got copies of old games with patches - these old games work for vista!!

I've got "Destruction Derby 2", "Driver", "Grand Theft Auto" (I think this one is from '96, or '97), "Need for Speed 2SE" (DA BOMB!), "Quake 1", and I've even got a copy of "Wolfenstein"!!

anyways, I prefer gameplay before graphix, but then after a bit (like a week or more), the game would get boring - just because of its graphix! heh!

Graphics are nice because it makes the game realistic,
And it has to be challenging or you wont enjoy playing the game after a while.

I'd rather have a game with good game play and bad graphics then a game with amazing graphics and bad game play, even though graphics do make games better.

Unless its an old-school game, which can't really have amazing graphics can it?

I voted gameplay, but I also look at the replay value of the game. Some of the best games, like the original Super Mario, had terrible graphics, but were still awesome!

I would say both of them. Let say the gameplay is fun but the graphics is bad, it wouldn't be great game. So yeah, both of them.

Kinda stuck on both, but I just voted graphics. If a game has bad graphics, it turns me off of the game, and makes me look for another.
