At least the Wii has all good games, not the 3 "ok" games for Xbox. If it smokes the Wii, that explains why the Wii has been the top console on the market ever since it came out in 2006.

It has been on the top because everyone wants to get "fit" after partying at McDonald's. The 360 dominates. Sony just wanted to keep up with the other two companies so they made PS3. It's the same thing as the PS2 except with better graphics. It is way too overpriced.

PS3 or Wii, 360's screw up.. They have too many problems, if you move them a lot (like if you bring it to a friends house a lot for sleep-overs) they start messing up. Get a PS3 if you a real gamer, because it's free online capabilities and has almost the same games as 360. Get Wii if you want a family oriented system, I have one but I miss just playing with a controller sometimes and playing Rainbow Six Vegas: 2. This is just my opinion, I like 360's but I find that they mess up a lot with all of my friends.

Yes, but that's why you don't buy Ninjabread man in the first place. 'There are lots of rubbish games on it' is a very poor way to criticise a console. With popularity comes the bad developers who realise that they will make more money by sticking Billy The Wizard on wii than they will if they put it on 360 or PS3. Nonetheless, with or without bad games the Wii has the best good games, and that is what you really need to look at.

Wii is ok, but it never really appealed to me. The only thing I would like would be sword fighting on Zelda, but that would be only 5 minutes of fun before I get tired of it.

But they aren't as bad. Most of the third party Wii games get a score of 5 out of 10 in Game Informer. Still, Xbox has some crappy games too. So im not saying any system isen't like that, but the Wii has the worst.

I like Wii because it is more interactive. I like how for games like Zelda and Lego Indy you have to do the actions if you want to swing your sword or crack your whip. It's what makes it so fun!

I must say though-the Wii is not that great of a system. I think that most of the games are pretty boring. The best games I've played yet are the COD series and MKW.

I think the PS3 is better. Saying "The PS3 is a PS2 with better graphics" is just hypocritical. The Xbox 360 is almost exactly the same as the PS3. The only difference is games and memory. The PS3 is getting better games this year, and the lack of games is because the PS2 is still having games released for it. After Sony stops letting PS2 games be released, the PS3 will have a bigger video game selection.
I think the Xbox 360 is also pretty awesome, it has Rare now, so it will easily be my favorite this year when Banjo is released. Banjo might even become the Xbox's new Mascot, like Mario. (Sorry Halo fans) It has no wireless in it, though, and I would have to buy a wireless adaptor (not to mention XBL), but even without internet it is fun.
The Wii is very fun. The motion controls make it even better, but sometimes I miss the old controller design. The graphics may not be as good as it's competitors, but the graphics are very nice. The game selection is awesome, I love that there are less FPS's.

PS3 or Wii, 360's screw up.. They have too many problems, if you move them a lot (like if you bring it to a friends house a lot for sleep-overs) they start messing up. Get a PS3 if you a real gamer, because it's free online capabilities and has almost the same games as 360. Get Wii if you want a family oriented system, I have one but I miss just playing with a controller sometimes and playing Rainbow Six Vegas: 2. This is just my opinion, I like 360's but I find that they mess up a lot with all of my friends.

This may sound lazy, but who cares, I do NOT want to swing my arms around like an idiot to get Link or someone to attack. The motion censors are horrible, usually I have to swing my arms four or five times to get my character to go the right move.

The XBox 360 and PS3 have almost no differences between them except that the PS3 uses a Blu-Ray disk format (PS3 disk 50GB > 9GB for 360 disks), and 360 charges for online play, plus the PS3 comes with an internet browser.

Nope, the 360 does not have more games than the PS3. First of all the 360 has been out a year longer. The PS3 also plays all PS2 and PS1 games, while the 360 only plays only some XBox games.
The PS3 will be coming out with an truck load of games this year, plus with the prices going down it will outsell the 360 by a mile. And if you say that the 360 has better games, well that is a matter of opinion.

Plus the Play Station 3 will last you longer (More bang for your buck). 1 out of every 3 360s get the Red Ring of Death. Sometimes you can get it fixed quickly, or you have to send it into Microsoft where they will repair it (Usually taking anywhere between 2 week and 2 months). While the Play Station 3 has less that a 2% chance of breaking down. And even if it does Sony will repair it for you.
And with the PS3s Blu-Ray technology the system is way ahead. I can tell you that it will not be long (maybe a few years) before regular disks (360 and Wii disks) will no longer be used to make DVDs and such. Then what would you do? Go spend $300-$400 for a blu-ray player when you can get one that comes with a gaming system for $400?

Kart is not bad, but the others I disliked (I own Kart and Smash, and have played Galaxy). I am more into shooter games. Yes, I have played almost ever shooter game on the Wii the only one that I found any good was COD3 and Medal of Honer 2.

When I first got my wii I play for about 2 hours.
When I got my PS3 I played for about 6 hours.

MKW was a great game to play online, but about 2 months after it was released nobody played anymore. I woud usually get only 3-5 players per game. Warhawk was released at year ago or so and every time I go on there is HUNDREDS of game servers the servers have anywhere between 5-30 players or something. Motorstorm, was released a year ago or something. I almost always find at least 3 games that have 12 people playing.
The online for the Nintendo Wii is not good at all. I am always getting lost signals and other problems. Have yet to have the problem with the PS3 online also.
I hate it when people say stuff like "The wii is cheaper". It costs only $150 to make a nintendo wii. For what you get they are over pricing it. Yes it costs less than a PS3, but with the PS3 you get more bang for your buck. The wii comes with a 1GB storage, PS3, 80GB. For gods sake you can't even play DVDs on the Wii. It would cost them $10 to add that feature to the wii, nope, they feel they need to make more money.
If the Wii would have some more violant video games like COD4 it would be such a better system.

Plus in about 2 years the Wii will be outdated. ;)

Playstation 3 has Home, which is far more advanced than Mii's. We get to make our own detailed 3D character, dress him/her, and explore the Home environment. You can also get your on house and you're able to play games and interact with other people through voicechat or text. You could also meet up at places and launch multiplayer games like Resistance and Warhawk. There's also much more to Home than I can explain, and best of all it's FREE.

Quality is always better than Quanity, and SONY provides quality. Wii has exclusives like SSB: Brawl, Mario Kart, Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Strikers: Charged, Super Paper Mario, and Nights while PS3 has exclusives like Metal Gear Solid 4, Ratchet & Clank Future, Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2, Little Big Planet, Killzone 2, Folklore, Warhawk, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, + many more. Now you tell me, which group of games is better?

Unfortunately the Wii does not have more sales than PS3 and 360 combined. The Wii has roughly 30,000,000 consoles sold, while PS3 has 15,000,000, and 360 has 20,000,000. PS3 and 360 both combine for 35,000,000 consoles sold, beating the Wii by about 5,000,000 consoles.


The Wii is more of a Gamecube 2.0, taking the same technology and adding motion sensored controls. There's no change in graphics (sometimes can look worse than Gamecube), and the style of games have really changed. Lots of graphics now are Wii-Friendly, and look like they've been made for children ages 5-8 (Madden 09 All-Play, I'm talking about you!). Just stop making up facts, the Wii will never beat the PS3 in technology or games. It's just not a better system overall.

You would have to ask a critic of which console has the best games. So far the PS3 has the best-rated games for the amount of games it has (it also has the least, but the selection of games are suitable for almost every kind of gamer).

Each console does have their own advantages such as PS3 being the best movie player (hands down), 360 having a slight lead over SONY in the Online Gaming Industry, and Wii having it's friendly interface suitable for all ages (but mostly aiming towards the younger side of gaming).

It's really anybody's opinion to say which console is better, but if you want to know the technology and performance, you'll have to compare the specs of each system. The PlayStation 3 wins in this category, beating 360's RROD, and Wii's (non-existent) hardware.

It is a matter of TASTE which console has the best games. PERSONALLY, I PREFER THE WII BECAUSE I DISLIKE HEAVY VIOLENCE, AND MOST OF THE GOOD GAMES ON PS3 OR XBOX 360 CONTAIN THAT. There, done.

I agree with you heat, 'I got bored after 1 race' makes you sound very biased against Mario Kart. In fact, if I didn't know better I'd say you'd never played it Igloo.

Sure, some Ps3 games have some unadulterated violence in them and whatnot, but you really have to look for the good games without the violence. A somewhat (not heavily violent) game for the Ps3 game that is extremely good is PAIN. Another game with no violence in it that is incredibly awesome is PixelJunk: Eden.

You can't judge consoles by the games that are very violent. Some games are actually pretty good, y'know?

I say the PS3 is the best. It has more of the games I like. I've played all 3 consoles. The Wii got boring quickly, and was kinda kiddish to me, and the 360 wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Maybe it's just me not being used to the 360, maybe it isn't, but I like the PS3 the best.

I prefer the wii aswell BUT I have a PS3 and it is not just a PS2 with extra features. They have improved the PS2 features AND have added more. THE PS3 HAS MOTION SENSORS.
ALSO, the wii is just a gamecube with the features the gamecube has improved and some new features.
ALSO, the xbox 360 is just an xbox with improved box features and new features.

I'm sort of a "sunday player" so I think Wii suits me the best. But in my opinnion they are made for very different target group and therefore mostly people who like one, don't like the other at least when it comes to Wii. :)

I like the Wii best only because I don't have a PS3 or 360. I like it because I am pretty much full Nintendo and have not really ever had the chance to play much of anything else, but I still love the 360 because the Wii barely ever has any hardcore games, and the 360 makes up for that.

I voted xbox 360 because of the variety of games and the ease in which you can ineract with friends with its interface :D
