Rockhopper and Migrator

I'm confused. I try to see if Rockhopper is online and it says "password incorrect" so it means he is, but I can't find him in any server. Does the Migrator have to be docked to be find the Rockhopper?

Rockhopper is only online when the Migrator is there. There's no other way to find him, so that might just be a glitch or the CP Staff don't care much about "Incorrect Pass" "Ban" from Rockhopper since he's not even supposed to be on Club Penguin now

When Club Penguin updated the new servers they took away that feature. Now it only says that a person is banned if you enter the correct password.

Rockhopper is not in Club Penguin right now so do not waste your time looking.

When the Migrator is here there will be a stickied thread in the forums. Penguins will post there if they see him and if you are online at the time you can check it out. Also it wasn't a good idea checking if he was online or not. It is actually against CP Rules to use a penguin that is not yours and if they caught you trying to get into Rockhopper's account (which you weren't really trying to get in, just checking if he was online) it would be a bannable offense and they can permanently ban your penguin anyways. I don't think they catch people too often but still is it a risk worth taking??
