Puffles are pointless

Puffle are actually pointless.



These are my reasons:

They do nothing in igloos (apart from eat, exercise & sleep when you make them).
They need constant feeding, sleeping and exercise every 10 minutes.
They run away.
Penguins spend loads on their food.
They have furniture and items that they dont use.
When you take them out they do nothing.
They clutter igloos
They get boring
You can't command, interact and communicate with them.


Because I was spending so much on their stuff, I ended up starving two of them and then they ran away (Yay!)

I think that they didn't quite live up to the hype. I understand there's not a whole lot you can program a pet to do, but I was just hoping for a little more.. Possibly a game involving your penguin playing with the puffle? Such as playing fetch or something?

Sure, they require feeding and care, but at least you can interact with them.

But think about the younger children!!! They would love to have a pet they can feed, bath, walk and play with!

I have 3 cousins, they all share 1 account! and all three of them love puffles, their ages are 3, 5 and 8. They have a red, and a blue puffle! They think it is great that they can have a pet on the internet!

:cool: So actually, just remember that club penguin is from 4 - 14 or something (no offence vital viper) and that for the younger people, puffles are fun!:D

wel, it used to be fun namin them then clubpenguin started making there names invisible becuase people were giving their puffles bad names, but then cp introduced puffle walking so then it got a lot cooler, u can fly wiv green pufle at april fools and u black puffles are cool for tipping the iceberg becoz it looks like their drilling through it, so i guess they arnt pointless, and also if we didnt have puffles we wouldnt have the legendary yarr

Puffles are really for the enjoyment of younger players, if you don't want them, don't get them, simple as that.

but sometimes penguins don't feel like playing games and it is a pain keep going back to the igloo to make sure they are ok and then spend more money on feeding them.

Every puffle i've ever had ran away from me :blush:-_-
but i don't think thier pointless, Maybe they could add some extra things like hats and maybe if you pick up a pin while walking it, it picks the pin up too. But the biggest thing that they could do would be let u see thier name again (and they could detect if the name has any bad words)

By the same token I can say furniture and clothes are useless.

1. You can only look at clothes and furniture.
2. Even if you do a special dance its still useless as your only seeing a image it is in no way affecting the gameplay.
3. You can't interact with furniture other than changing the way it look you can't actually do anything with it.

Puffles are pointless? I have to disagree. . .

Not only are they cute little creatures that younger kids love to take care of, but they also serve a practical purpose in two of the games. You can take your Red Puffle surfing with you on Catching Waves to earn a few extra points, and you can take your Pink Puffle under the sea with you in Aqua Grabber and she'll give you air.

I'm sure as Club Penguin continues to build new games for the site they'll find a way of introducing the other colors of puffles into the games. It's neat to bring them along!

I kinda do agree with you, all they do do is eat, sleep, take baths, and follow you?? Not really necessary i suppose. But you have to admit it was kind of cool when the yellow puffle was released, everyone wanted to see, and most people wanted one of their own. So yes they are pointeless but they are pretty cool =]

Umm.. No, puffles aren't pointless. I let mine die (8 of them) because I didn't care, I was way too busy! But they are cute, and help you in games, so they are not useless.

Look guys, puffles are not pointless.
They are your first buddy.They are like some decoration of the igloo.You can walk them, you can play with them you can feed them.Look at their faces they are kinda cute.It's not a big deal that you give 10 coins every time you get in to Club Penguin.You earn them so easy.And if you got some puffle, but it's gone from the Puffle Catalog, you got rare puffle.That means if you take care of it, you may be the last guy who got this kind of puffle.I think they are great pets for one penguin.

Those of you that play Toontown Online, you can actually teach your Doodles(pets) to do tricks! You can feed them only one jellybean(point) and they will be happy! You can also scratch them to make them happy, and you can swim with them! Overall, I think puffles are poimntless.:mad:

Puffles to me are annoying pixels that steal your money so they can eat, and waste your time so you can wash them and stuff...I guess not only tounger/new players would like them though.
