The Igloo Designer Helpers Thread
Ask for tips and hints on creating your igloo!
.::Introduction - History::.
Welcome to the OFFICIAL Igloo Designer Help thread! What is that you ask? Well, this whole idea was started by Vital Viper, at the time, there were a lot of threads about people asking for assitance when creating/designing their igloos were being made. Vital Viper decided to ask members(you guys) of the forum to submit applications to become an official Igloo Design Helper, Vital Viper then handed all aspects of the project over to me(ToM!), I then reviewed all of the applications and made my selections, who are they? Keep reading.

Mr. Musha
Basketcase1These are your Igloo Design Helpers, they are here to help YOU with designing your igloo, now before you go asking them to rate your igloo, try taking a few minutes to read over the wonderful guide the Design Helpers put together, just for you!
.::Igloo Design Guide::.
Now, before we get started, I would like to point out a few things, these are the factors we based our guide off of to designing a successful igloo: Igloo Themes, Items, Colors, Furniture Arrangement, Igloo Types, Floor Types, Lag, Overloading, etc... So please take in ALL of these tips and hints we provide, so please read on and hopefully this can help better your igloo designing experience!
.:Budget:.
One of the main things to remember is that everything you buy for your igloo costs coins, nothing is free. So be aware of what you are buying and in what quantity. Try setting a budget of 5,000 coins, this could vary dependig on what your trying to do, but the main point is trying to stay within this budget and not going over it. If you get your igloo the way you want it, don't go splurging into the catalog to buy stuff just to add becuase you want to, making and staying within a budget will help you now, and in the future.
.:Igloo Themes:.
The first step to getting your igloo set up is it's theme, what is your igloo going to be used for? Parties? A Stage? A Lounge? A House? So first things first, open up the Igloo Catalog and scroll through there. Lets just say that you plan on making a house out of your igloo, with a backyard. Thankfully, Club Penguin just released an igloo with a backyard. Once you've got that, look around the Furniture Catalog and try to find items that would relate to the theme you are trying to accomplish with your theme, don't go overboard here, stay within that budget. We know there are A LOT of flashy cool furniture items in that catalog, but keep the spending to a minimum or at least within that budget you set and only purchase items that relate to your theme.
.:Items & Colors:.
Now that you've got the theme of your igloo, it's time to purchase your items. Like I mentioned before, DON'T SPLURGE! We have a set budget and our goal is to stay within it and still create a great igloo. Open up the Furniture Catalog and flip through the pages. Club Penguin often releases items in color sets, often Red Furniture, Green Furniture, Wooden Furniture, basically, Club Penguin has many themes already created just for YOU. All you have to do is find the right one.
Lets say you're creating a Coffee Shop, try focusing your items on items you would normaly find in a coffee shop, like the leather couches, wood desks/tables, books, etc... We want to have all of our items correlate to the theme, if we don't it will throw off our whole theme and the look of the igloo. We want your igloo to "flow". One tip, try to amke your igloo symmetrical, it helps. Try avoiding items and colors that will pop out at a visitor, a lime green table in a Log Cabin used as a ski lodge won't relate to the theme.
.:Furniture Arrangement:.
Now that you've purchased all of the items you need to create your igloo based on your theme and you've stayed within your budget, it's time to place your furniture items. Now, just like in a normal house, there are certain areas dedicated to certain things, take the living room for example. Most living rooms contain a couch or two, a TV a coffee table, or just a table, maybe a fireplace. Just like the kitchen, Club Penguin has a kitchen set (fridge, stove/range/oven, sink, counters, etc.) so making a kitchen should be easy. If you need help placing items, refer to this image as an example:
Click Here for Image! (http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/5691/igloodesigncz9.png)
(thanks Ziek)
As you can see, the igloo is seperated into sections using items, just like in a real house! There is a Living area, Dining Room, Backyard, etc. If you were going for a house theme, this is what you should shoot for.
.:Flooring:.
Club Penguin has many different types of flooring options for you to choose from, seeing that plain blue/white floor gets quite plain after a while. Open up the Igloo Catalog, not the furniture catalog, and the first section should be the section on igloo flooring. There a quite a few designs and looks to choose from. Remember to pick a design that will match your theme, if your doing a house igloo, don't pick the Dance Floor, if you're doing a resuraunt don't pick the grass flooring, unless it's outside or something.
.:Lag Prevention:.
Believe me when I say this, NO ONE likes Lag. No one. A lot of igloo have so many animated and moving objects that even getting to the door to leave is a challenge in itself! Don't overload your igloo with animated items such as TVs, Security Cameras, Dance Floors, Fire Places, Camp Fires, etc... People don't like igloos that lag and having all of those "cool" animated items suffocating your igloo isn't cool and doesn't make you "famous" or "popular" so don't do it, for an example of a laggy igloo, look below.
Click Here for Image (http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/6743/lagoy2.jpg)
(thanks Snazzy)
.:Puffles:. (Ziek)
Regarding Puffles, because they do have an impact in your igloo, they live there. Having the maximum amount of Puffles doesn’t exactly look nice. If you made a Puffle Daycare Igloo maybe it would, but in most cases it doesn’t. One or two Puffles is fine, it’s satisfying your pet personality, and it doesn’t over crowd your igloo. But if you have too many Puffles, it starts to get overcrowded and messy. It will make your igloo seem cluttered and unorganized.
.:Music:. (Basketcase1)
I have a tip for most igloos that will look strange with a stereo or juke box, well, first you find a tall and wide item, a refridgerator works well, now, place the stereo or juke box down at the bit where the fridge was, put the fridge in fron so you can't see the stereo, and ta da, you have an igloo with music without a stereo in the middle of your home. To pick good music, again, think about your theme, if your igloo is themed like a ship, pick "Ocean Voyage" as it will go great with that theme, if, however, you ahve a theme that could have any music, like a house, just put on a sound track that you like.
.:Igloo Overloading:. (Chandru)
Remember, you don't need every single item in the Better Igloos Catalog. Don't put a lot of items, especially a lot of one item, in your igloo. An exception can be made if you're making a restaraunt or movie theater. Then you need a lot of seats and tables. Otherwise, be creative and remember that a few items can go a long way if positioned correctly.
.::Igloo Rating and Rules::.
Now that you've read our guide and you have (re)designed your igloo based off of the guide and you would like it to be rated by our Igloo Experts, you must submit your igloo the following way.
Overall Rule: ALL FORUM RULES APPLY
1) Do not post IMAGES, only post Direct Links to the image of your igloo
2) Do not bring up Off-Topic discussion in here
3) You may only post your igloo ONCE, after it has been rated, you may post your refined igloo and have it be rated
4) The Igloo Design Helpers are not online 24/7 and sometimes your igloo will be missed or skiped over on accident, do not hassle the helpers, just give them a friendly reminder
Have fun and happy igloo designing!

Okay, Nice idea but it isn't exactly hitting the jackpot. First of all, I do not think that the Witch Pot should be there, it doesn't really relate to the general theme. Use some balloons to fill in that spot, to spice up the igloo. Also, remove the water toys and clam and replace it with another lounging area, or a DJ center. Make the Party theme really stand out, be creative.
As for the backyard, the Christmas Tree is not really working. Replace it with another garden or just a regular tree or just a tree with lights. Make the backyard more organized, move the green chair back, so that it is symmetrical to the red chair.
Good luck.

This is a very creative idea, and I love how you used original ideas. The rollercoaster is very unique, and I am loving all the trees. Where the green chairs are, I would add a camp fire.
I'm still kinda wondering though, are the rooms on right bathrooms? And the kitchen counter and stove in the back, what is the purpose of that?
Nice job though, keep up the creative work.

The posters at the door are far too big, try putting a few of the multi-coloured puffle posters in the same arrangement around the door, the stage posters are far too large. (Or remove the posters and don't add anything else, your choice) The fire arrangement in the middle of the room would cause too much lag. I suggest taking away the tiki torches and switching off the camp fires, because there is no point in causing lag in your own igloo, what I would maybe do is I would only put them out when your having people over, there's no point having a cool looking igloo if you are the only one to see it. (I'm not sure if you can turn off the tiki torches, so I'm saying take them away, but if you can turn them off, that would work just as well) Remove all/switch off all moving items, (Tiki torches, camp fires, disco lights, bubbling pot on the stove, TV, speaker) causing lag in your igloo is really not 'cool'. Take the snowman away from the fire, unless you are trying to give the impression of you trying to melt him. Un-freeze the fish (Optional) and move the green beach ball away from the fire or just take it out of your igloo all together, consider changing the flooring and try to get a basic theme going, igloos without a theme can become very messy indeed. Currently, that is all I can see, if I see anything else for you to change, then I'll tell you. If you want to follow my advice, post your new igloo, so I can see what it looks like and I'll see if anything else needs changed.

First of all, there is no general theme for this igloo. From the looks of it, it looks like a bunch of random items put together. Also, the green flooring isn't blending with the furniture, choose the bamboo flooring.
I think you are kind of going for a house igloo.
I would remove the yellow chair at the bottom, and the Turtle. Take away the palm tree and the snowman. Put the drums in front of the microphone. If you want to keep the puffle section, I guess you should go for it. It does look messy, and cluttered on the side. Remove the fire on the fish tank though. I would also take out the random TV that is above the fish tank.
As for the first floor, I would just use ONE poster as they are extremely big. I would take out the Orange Couch, and put in another Bamboo couch. Also, I would remove the weights in the bottom left corner.
I'm not sure what you are going for in the middle, with the net and the flames. If you would like to keep it, okay. But just know that it will make your igloo lag and it will not fit the general theme.

It's alright, but it needs to be organized. I love the fishbowl relax area. Remove the pink furniture, and place the piano and painting where it used to be. Place the rug [tan] under the piano. Seperate the puffle items, too. I think that in the backyard you need to organize it. The green lawn chair needs to go, though I get where you're going with that. You should remove everything from that little area. Put the bench in there. Take away the baseball mats and don't put them back unless you're trying to make a baseball area. Move up the picnic bench a bit and place the wheelbarrow where the bench used to be.

It's too empty. For the backyard place the fence surrounding the area, probably on the black line. Remove the pumpkin patch and fence from that area. Put the pumkin patch at the top corner and place the fence in front of it. Move the yellow lawn chair and puffle house out of the way for a minute. Put the BBQ there and the cooler next to it. Take away the inflatable dragon. Put the yellow lawn chair in the middle and if you have another one put it next to it and put the RH pot in the middle of them. Remove the watering can and the puffle house alltogether. Also I'd suggest buying items from the Igloo Catalog. For the inside, remove one oven, and place the pantry where it was. Put the couch where the pantry used to be. Remove the lava lamp and again, add more furniture.

Icegirl, I think you did a swell job in decorating this igloo. I think that there is only a small amount of problems.
-Floored Section-
First, I would remove the Mexican Rug. I would also take or move the Piano. As it is, it is too scrunched up next to the couch. I would also remove the security camera, there is no purpose for it to be there. You should move the Puffle Furniture in a different spot, or take it all out.
-Backyard Section-
The backyard is not as organized as the inside. I do like your baseball bases that are made into stepping stones. I would replace the candles with a nice pair of plants. For me, the picnic table isn't really working out, you might want to replace that. And on the top part of the Backyard, it gets messy. I would move the watering can next to the bench, and fill it with flowers. Place the lounging chair where the watering can is. And if you want, discard of the Wheelbarrow.

Okay, first of all, the Igloo is very bare. It needs much more items, and it needs to create a filled appearance.
-Floored Section-
Take the Bamboo Couch and put it in the spot where the Lava Lamp is. Turn it so it's facing the Kitchen Area. Take out the Lava Lamp. Put the Bamboo Chair from the lower section and put it across from the Bamboo Couch. You may want to put a Bamboo Table in between these 2 seating areas. And/or you also might want to put a Mexican Rug here also.
Remove one of the 2 stoves. Put the Pantry in between the Stove and Fridge. To fill in the extra space, try putting a table with chairs. This will create the Kitchen Area.
For the lower part, take out the Pot. (You should have already moved the Pantry and Bamboo Chair from this area) Now you may create a whole new area here! Be creative, it may be a lounging area or a different room. I would suggest for you to put a Piano and an Easel in this area. I would also add a rug of your choice in this individual area.
-Backyard Section-
(On the steps, place pretty House Plants on both sides)
Okay, this part is pretty bare looking.Remove the Dragon Floatie. Take out the Watering Can for now and put the Pumpkin patch in the area it was in. Put a few Vegetable Patches aruond it and build a fence around that area. In the far back area, put a Bench in. Put the watering can filled with flowers next to it. Take out the Puffle furniture, Yellow Chair and remaning items. Be creative in the space, do not leave it bare.
4/10
http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=29pdu35&s=3
There's mine.
-Floored Section-
Turn the Green Rug around so that it is diagonal. Use the larger dining room table, as the one you are using now is a coffee table. Put the Mexican Rug underneath the Table. If you have it, use the door Garland around your door. Add something on the walls to spice it up. Replace the painting with a Piano. Move the Painting to the right of the Piano. Put a rug of some sort underneath this. If you would like, put plants on both sides of the Piano.
-Backyard Section-
(On the steps, remove the Watering Can for now. Replace with house plants on both sides)
I would fence in the entire area, to make it look more filled in. If I were you, I would take out the Garden Gnome. As for the rest of the area, it's up to you.

I'm a nonmember so this was my old igloo. http://yoki96.files.wordpress.com/2007/05/yoki96.jpg
PS. It never really lagged.
I don't even know where to start. Yes, you may think it looks cool and all, but it would be much easier if you just choose the Dance Flooring. It would also save alot of money if you had done that earlier. Then add some balloons, Christmas Lights, a Jukebox and other party furniture. Don't use so many different colored rugs, it looks terribly messy. Choose one color, and stick to it.
For being creative...6/10

Yes, it is a tad bit random. I really like the Kitchen area though. Remove the floatie couches, and add in the other Orange Couch. Then, put the lamp in between the couches, in the middle. Take out the Purple Sculpture. Remove the Penguin Ice Sculpture and the Floatie couch. Replace with any other couch that will blend with the surroundings.
For the lower half, take out the train. On the left, put another Snow Couch. I would also put a Door Garland around your door frame. Put plants on either side of the Piano. Be creative with the extra space you have.

theme is normal house

-Floored Section-
Move the table further down. Add the Kitchen area from the Backyard slightly above the Table section. Change the flooring to Bamboo Flooring. Take out the Red Mat, and replace with a Green Rug. Take out the Orange Couch and replace with a Green Couch like the one across from it. At this point, I would obliterate the Palm Tree completely. I would also use a Big-Screen Tv instead of the Wall one. Place small House Plants on either side of the TV. Take out the Wall Lamps. Next to the Black Seat and lamp, I would add a Green Bookshelf. Behind the "DJ Center" remove the Clock and replace it with a Home Stereo.
-Backyard Section-
Without the Kitchen Area being there (you should have already moved it), it will be very bare. Fill in the extra space and use your imagination.

7.5/10
4/10
6/10

Thanks! I don't have another orange couch though. (I'm mainly using items that I've saved up over a long time, I'm buying more now though) Or a blue couch. I also can't find a door garland in the catalog. What does it mean?
Very good advice though. A lot of people would've said vaguer things.
Here it is: http://i30.tinypic.com/15ppuyq.jpg
I did as much as I could of what you said, and replaced the extra space with some puffle furniture and a study desk area. I turned the place with the blue bubble couch into a green area and dotted a few more plants around. I tried to do what you said with the orange bit, but I couldn't find a substitute for the bubble couch.
What could be improved now?

Thanks for the advice. Also for Basketcase1, my cousin membership is expired. He can't change the igloo. It just and old pic.
Oh ok, that's fine. :) If you can't change it it doesn't matter, oh well! :)

I decided to do this one also, even though it has already been done. :) (I live in Scotland so we have different time zones, VV, so most of them are already done when I come on)
This is a very organised igloo, but, turn the food bowl beside the puffle bed around so that it is straight (Like this | and not this --) Remove the fish tanks beside the TV If you want, move the mexican rug to in front of the door. Try not to keep it to cluttered in the garden, the wheel barrow and the flower pot and things are all squeezed together, try spreading them out. So far there is nothing else I can see wrong with your igloo. If I spot anything else I shall tell you.

Your very welcome! The Door Garland was in the Christmas Catalog, I thought there would be a slight chance you would have it.
Okay, it improved a whole lot! I would take out the puffle items, it's starting to get a little too "stuffy" in the house. The kitchen is still great, you may put a Mexican Rug underneath it if you want. Where the Green Furniture is, I would replace the Puffle Bed and put a Green Rug. I really like the desk and the fish tank you put in it, very nice. But I'm afraid it's in the wrong spot. Since I like the desk more than the piano, I would take out the piano and put the desk and chair there.

Ok. I don't have a green rug, that's why I put the puffle bed there, for something central. So I've left that there for now. (I didn't buy igloo items for a while because my igloo was past the 100 items limit. And yes it was hell:P) The piano is what I use for music, but I'll see if I can hide a stero or something (I put it behind the cupboad  )

But anyways, I'd suggest talking away the Christmas garland on the door... it doesn't go at all with wrestling. Also take away the TV and the Jukebox. Honestly they don't match. Try to corrdinate with the colors. Ex: you put purple, brown, blue, and green, while you should keep it simpler. Try putting brown, black, and blue.

I can understand the christmas thing, but in wrestling, WWE, the colors dont match really either. If Club Penguin made different colors of things I would put matching colors. And lol the TV is the monitor. Sorry for rebeling but mabye you can look at it a little differently now know how it works?

As someone who asked for their igloo to be looked at, it is completely up to you with what changes you make. and the helper won't (better not) get mad if you choose not to use their advice, no matter the reason.

I like how you used your own creative idea for your Club.
I wouldn't put a Pantry in front of the door, unless it's supposed to serve as another purpose. I like how you created a hallway with the fencing. I do not like where the Jukebox is placed, and there isn't really a spot where you can put it. Take out the Rare Flower Pot, it doesn't belong there. I would put the Bamboo Couch where the Rare Flower Pot was.(as near to the bottom as you can) Then put the table with chips right in front of it. You may also want to move the Weight Bench down a bit so it doesn't overlap your "wall".

Pretty good, I especially like the backyard.
-Floored Section-
(First off, I would use the Bamboo Flooring)
You may want to add a kitchen in the section with the tables. You could add a stove, pantry, etc. If you did that, take away one table. For the seating area, I would use a Fireplace instead of the small TV. On the other side of the stairs, put another Snake Grass plant. On the other side of the Piano, put another small cactus. If you have it, put a Garland around the door frame. (it was in the Christmas Catalog)
-Backyard Section-
Pretty good, not much to say about this. In the Pumpkin Patch, I would add another dirt spot because there is some green grass showing! Instead of the Bench you currently are using, I would use the Wooden Bench. The bench you are using right now blends into the wall. Add a Watering Can filled with flowers next to the bench.

Ok, for this igloo I would suggest getting rid of the mullet table in the garden. You could move it inside, or get rid of the mullet to make it blend in more with the other tables. Some more plants an flowers would brighten it up and make it more interesting. You could try to fill up the band area with a microphone or two, or put a rug there. Regarding the indoor seating area, I would maybe get rid of the pink throne, and turn the black armchair round so that people can sit in it.
Overall, i would rate this 7/10
P.S. Regarding my "inactivity", I had a busy weekend and could not make it online. And could someone please change my name on the first post so that it is spelt correctly, it's Mr Musha, not Musho

-Floored Section-
Put two DJ center's at a point, right in front of the Jukebox. Move the Drums down farther and add a Microphone. If you have the individual dance mats from a long time ago, it would be appropriate to use them in this area.
IMPORATANT: I would switch where the Seating and Band area is. Make the seating down towards the bottom. The band should now be towards the top, next to the Band Poster.
Also, take out the Pink Throne. Put an Orange Rug in the middle if you have one. If not, that's okay. Change the 'Happy Birthday' Banner to a different banner.
-Backyard Section-
Pretty good. Remove the table with the Mullet on it. Replace it with a nice Vegetable Garden, and put a Fence up around it. In the middle of the Green Chairs, you might want to add a Watering Can filled with flowers. Add a type of plant on both sides of the Fence Posts (the opening)

Very nice. I think the front area is very organized. I'd suggest getting rid of the pink chair and the black armchair and moving the couches close together. Also, don't block the doorway. And like Ziek said, switch the band and sitting area. That would be a great help. Also change the banner to something else unless it's for a birthday. Put a dance mat under the band area if you have one, or else try a colorful rug.
Switch the table with the mullet with the 2 lounge chairs or just delete the table and bring the lounge chairs up.

Okay, pretty good. Take out the Rare Flower Pot behind the couch, don't worry it will still grow in your inventory. Take out the large plant on the right, next to the Drums. Exchange the Penguin sculpture for a Ficus Plant (just like the other side of the TV). Then move the Table out into the middle a tad. That's all I can see that's wrong with your igloo.

Also, stop pleading for Vital Viper to rate your igloo. He won't be able to rate every single person's igloo, he's busy. And, that's the reason we are here, Igloo Helpers. We are meant to help you with your igloo design, so please trust us to help you.

Alright, first off, there is way too many different colors going on. I'm seeing all different colors of couches and such. But, that's why I'm here.
-Floored Section-
Okay, I'm liking the Excercise Room. If you would like, you can add some (Red Only) Gym Mats underneath. Take away the Fridge completely, use a Grandfather Clock instead. Now take away the wall clock! Now then, exchange the Orange Couch for another Red Couch. Also exchange the Green Chair for a Plush Gray Chair. If you have a Red Rug, you may want to put it under the table. I also like your small dancing area, it's very personal.
-Backyard Section-
Things get very confusing here, and unorganized. Remove the Palm Tree and Cactus in the back of the yard. Put the Bench and 2 plants that were with it in the spot the Palm tree/Cactus just were. Face the Bench towards yourself, so you are able to sit on it now! Where it was before, you couldn't really see the Bench. Fill the Watering Can with flowers (press on your arrow keys!). Move the Red Chair and Fan next to the Barbecue, the left side of it. Take away the Security Camera in the Backyard, and the Rare Flower Pot. Don't worry, it will still grow in your inventory.
That's basically about it. Post your updated igloo.

P.S. Regarding my "inactivity", I had a busy weekend and could not make it online. And could someone please change my name on the first post so that it is spelt correctly, it's Mr Musha, not Musho
Well first impressions are key. Be sure to stay active here and it helps to post in the "coming and going" thread so that we know not to be expecting you.
Your not Mr Musho? I'm sorry there was confusion but then you have not been selected and we are still waiting for Mr Musho.

Before I critique your igloo, I must first ask a question. What are the Tables there for? Is it some kind of stadium for the Baseball Field? After you answer that, I will help you.
As of right now, 4/10.

Oh, okay. Are you trying to make a Snowball Fort themed igloo? If so, then I suppose that your igloo is correct...
I really wouldn't have all those tables though, it looks very junky. You have the potential to be a great igloo designer. Don't overuse one item, it doesn't exactly look good.
Start over, make a House Igloo or some type of igloo. Remove all the items, except in the backyard. Create different rooms; a Kitchen, Lounging Area, Band, etc. I would steer away from random ideas, such as a Table Fort. Most people really won't understand what it is.
Try posting an igloo of a Regular Home theme. I'd like to see what you can do with that. As of right now, I can't really help you rearrange any items because I don't know what kinds of areas you want.

I'm just giving you my opinion of it. It doesn't look very good, and it doesn't fit a theme.
I'll try to build around the fact that you aren't going to take out the tables. Take out the clock on the door. Put the Homestereo in front of the door, and put the stereos on both sides of it. Take out all the Rare Flower Pots, they'll still grow in your inventory. If you have it, add paper lanterns to the walls of this floor.
Put a Bench with a Watering Can next to it in the top left corner of the Backyard. Add anything else that will create intrest to the backyard.

Great guide! Anyway, about my igloo, I know you're going to say something about puffles, but I'd like to know how I did in terms of designing. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u103/Eddy8888/icyjoe8igloomay132008.png
It's pretty good. I'd remove the green chair and the refrigerator. Also take away either the palm tree or the cactus [I myself would leave the palm tree]. And next to the plant you maybe put the red lounge chair next to it. Move the RH pot inside the igloo. Remove the security camera from the backyard and also take away the watering can and fan.

I'd suggest removing the watering can. The fort is cool, and I understand you want to keep it (though it's not my style, it's a cool place to hang out).

Besides, they give much better advice than I do :P if you want a better chance at getting my advice I would suggest the outfit thread, but don't be disappointed if you just get judged by Flame.

The only have a few requests;
1) Remove the Fish Bowl
2) Remove the Ficus Plant next to the Big-Screen TV
3) Move the Big-Screen TV and other items to the right a bit. It's a little too close the the Gray Chair.

Here are my further suggestions;
1) Take out the Lamp.
2) Now that I think about it, the Red Mat isn't really flowing with the room. You may want to take that out.
3) I would remove the Gnome from behind the bench.
4)Take away the mini fan.

Cool, I like how you are being creative and making a sporty backyard.
Limit the Security Camera's to one only. I would also take out the Treasure Chest and fill in the extra space with something creative. Maybe you could make a seating area for fans to watch the 'soccer match'. Also, if you have any Paper Lanterns, you can put these on the walls to make them more interesting. Take out the Garden Gnome and place the Wheel Barrow where it used to be.
Use your imagination and create a unique igloo. You're almost there, just keep trying out different options. 7/10

I also like the arangment of the benches,
But you baseball field(?) looks kinda sloppy and i suggest taking it out and putting the soccer field (circus ball and nets) where it is, and closing it off with fences.

I'm not sure if outside input is allowed, I'll have to check with Tom or Vital. It's helpful, but then again we had to apply for our jobs.
Also, I just updated my igloo. Hopefully Igloo Helpers are allowed to share their Igloo Designing also. There is now a River in the Backyard, and a few more added items. Feel free to check it out, it's the link below. Suggestions and comments are welcome.

It looked a bit better before, but it's your choice.
I would put the Picture of the Sunset above the Fireplace. Push the fence in closer, so it is touching your Vegetable Garden. Take away the Blue Cooler. Space out the Watering Can and Wheelbarrow if needed.

Theme SS Lounge
Pretty good, and it could be a little better.
-First Floor-
A little plain, it could use another area of entertainment. Perhaps add a Piano, it would fit your Black & White Tile. I don't really like the Green Rug you used. If there is some sort of Red Rug or even a Red Gym Mat I would use that instead. Take away the LCD small TV.
-Second Floor-
If you have another Wood Stove, replace the Rare Flower Pot for that. Then it would look more even on both sides. Take away the Jukebox hiding behind the TV. Move the Seating Area in this spot down a little bit. Take away the CD racks also. It might also look nice if you put the Orange Lamp on the Stump.

Very nice Starskie! The Red Mat and Drums look very nice! Just move the Drums down a bit so they aren't over-lapping. I actually like that it has extra room and that it's spacious. Take out the Piano Bench in the middle of the two Orange Couches. If you want to add anything to the open spots, feel free to. Just make sure it goes along with everything else, and it's not out of place.

I think that it looks good already. A couple of things that I would change is the stove. If you could move it closer to the fllor, that would be better becuase at the moment it has overlap. I would also move the red mat and ice table a bit forwards, to make use of the space in front and have a bit more room between the sofa and red blobby chair thing. As Ziek said, get rid of the piano bench, or you could add a piano and put them in the top left corner.
I would rate this as it is, 8.5/10
I am going on holiday tomorrow for 2 weeks, so I won't be on here for then.

Ok. This a very good igloo and doesn't need much improving. Something to improve though, is that I would move the mop against a wall or something. Then I would space the red chair, brown chair, and the fall fair chair further apart, for more room. You could get rid of the superhero's poster, as you can't really see it anyway.
I would rate this igloo 9.5/10
See thats good to know, now we won't get mad when you don't reply :P

The little space in the fence is supposed to be an opening to get in, and also there had to be an empty space somewhere, because of the way the igloo and the fence were drawn. I decided to put my baseball bases back because it adds something for the middle of the yard. I also thought that umbrella went nicely with the lounge chair. (The reason I added this note is because I have had a lot of different designs lately.)

This igloo all seems very random to me, it doesn't have a direct theme.
-First Floor-
Get rid of the Small TV and "Hurray" Sign. Take away the Barbecue at the bottom. If you have the Desk (with Globe) then I would put this next to the bookshelf. This would create a nice little study room. If you do that, take away the Dance Floor and Penguin. I would also add in a Red Mat or Rug underneath. If you don't choose that option, then just make sure that it looks organized.
-Second Floor-
Take away the Mop that is blocking the view of the Table. Instead of the Ferris Couch use a Red Couch or something that will match. I would take the (reading) Lamp and put it next to the Piano downstairs. Take away the SuperHero Poster, and put the Medieval Banner behind the Fireplace instead. Remove the Party Banner, it is blocking the beautiful artwork.
That's about it. If you want, you can add House Plants in places that would look nice. (Ex: Fireplace, Piano, Desk etc.)

I'm really liking this! My only complaints are;
1) Move the Couches so they are center with the Fireplace. Right now, they are off-center.
2) I would remove the Security Camera, there are too many items in this one place.
3) Something about the Bookshelf placement doesn't look right.
The Backyard turned out wonderful! I still can't decide where the Portrait would look best.

That's true. Do you have any mats or rugs you can place under it [I'd suggest orange rugs]? It doesn't look bad the way it is if not.

Does my igloo look "sloppy" to you?
I keep thinking it looks just.... ehh
http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q290/pjtush/Picture24-5.png
Your igloo is a bit crowded and un-organized. I understand where you are trying to go though.
-First Floor-
Take out the Medieval Banner in front of the door. Remove the Puffle furniture. If you want, put the Jukebox back in the the middle of the two CD racks.
-Second Floor-
I see that you are trying to make a bar. I don't like that I can't see the kitchen though, it looks sloppy. Turn around the Kitchen items but make sure they don't interfere with the Bar. For the walls, I would take out all the TV's. If you don't want to do that, then at least pu them all on the same channel. I would replace with a Medieval Banner on both sides of the Moose.
That's just my input on it, but it's a pretty cool hangout.

how's my midieval igloo?:
Please post the link not the picture!
First, I'm going to recommend getting the Ice Castle Igloo.
Then, put the Royal Throne over the door (in the middle). Put the Knights on either side, and the penguin in the chair. Put the Medieval Banners over top the windows and above the Royal Throne. Put the Fireplace on the left or right side, and put Red Couches/Red Chairs around it.
If you make the rugs leading to the Royal Throne again, I would suggest using Red Gym Mats instead.
Rearrange your igloo according to the Ice Castle Igloo and make sure it's organized! Don't let it be too empty, but don't get it messy.

Once again, POST THE LINK NOT THE PICTURE. If you had read the entire first post, it says that.
I actually really like your igloo. It only needs to be improved in small parts of it.
-First Floor-
Fence around your Vegetable Garden so it looks neater. Put the Watering Can next to the Bench.
-Second Floor-
This floor is pretty good, for the most part. I would get rid of the TV above the Pantry. Remove the 2 Rare Flower Pots, they don't look good in that spot. Take out the House Plant in between the 2 chairs, and replace it with a Green Rug. On both sides of the Bookshelf, put a House Plant.

EDIT: Thank you both for making them both links.

Nice over-all theme. I like it. But, the fire in front of the two tiki torches should be turned off (put out, whatever you want to say) oh and turn off both TVs, as they cause lag, only put these things on for parties and things. Change the igloo flooring, it's up to you what you pick. Hmmm...That's all I can see for now. Good job! 9/10

Here's my input on it. Get the Backyard Igloo.
Switch the First Floor Sports Center with the Pool Area. Outline the pool area with snow clumps. So now, it's an outdoor pool! With any extra room, you can put in a barbecue and a Chair with an Umbrella.
Instead of the Purple Couch, use another Green Couch. Put an Orange Rug underneath the Red Table.
For the most part, I like it! 8/10

It states clearly in the rules of this thread not to post the picture, only the link, please remove the pic and put the link instead. o.0
It looks too cluttered but spacey at the same time. First, remove the TV and chair and place them inside, right behind the arm chair. Move the arm chair back a bit and face it towards the TV. Do the same with the couch, except let it be straight and the chairs on an angle. Remove the rug and place the stereo behind it, then put the CD rack next to it, and finally the speaker. Also remove the drum kit.
Then for the backyard- move the table to the center and buy chairs to surround it. Also try out some furniture and see how it works out.

LINKS ONLY. That means you didn't read the entire front page, like you were supposed to.
First pick a theme, this igloo has no general theme to it.
Put speakers on both sides of the DJ Table. Put the Home Stereo behind the DJ Table, make sure you move the DJ Table out a little bit. (so that it has some room) Move the Party Banner up a tad, and put the Concert Lights underneath that. Remove the Gym Mats, Security Camera, Medieval Banner, Gym Ball, Puffle Dish and Coat Rack. Where the Gray Plush Chair is I would put the Orange Inflatable Couch. Then add a little Ice Table with an Orange Rug underneath. Be creative with the extra space.
For the Backyard, take out the TV, Chair, and Shoe Rack. Move the Garden Up, so you can actually see it. I would fence in the entire Backyard so it looks neater. Where the TV is, I would put a Bench with the Rare Flower Pot next to it. Take away the Table and Chair and put a Puffle House there.

Okay, your igloo is looking very bare. The garden is really cluttered, try taking out a few plants. Then fence in the garden area. Be creative with the Backyard, I would make a moat using Blue Gym Mats and the Brown Soil from the Vegetable Garden. It would look really creative, and it would make it look like a Castle. Take out the Rare Flower Pots and just put one on both sides of the stairs.
Face the Pink Throne towards you. Get a Bamboo Flooring or some type of flooring so that the upstairs area isn't bare looking. Remove the Orange Rug. Put in another Medieval Banner on the other side of the Red Throne. Put a Table in this area, and put a couple Regal Chairs around it.
Try to be creative with the extra space, but don't go overboard.

This looks really nice, great job. I'm not sure if I really like the Fire Torches though, they make the overall igloo look a tad bit cluttered. Also, the Knight looks out of place, but there's not another spot to place him. You can replace the Candles with Knights, but I think the Candles look authentic and medieval.

Much better, but still needs a little improvement! I like that it's creative, so I won't ask you to change too many things. For the Moat, you might want to organize the dirt so you can't see the grass in between the different dirt.
Next to the Pink Throne, add the Princess Wardrobe. I like the Regal Dining Area, that looks very good. And for the bottom part, I'm not sure why there is pets all in that one spot. I would take out those, and replace with another seating area with a Ice Table in the middle. If you have the Red Chairs, I would use those.
7/10 Good!
Here's my igloo. Can anyone give me tips on how to improve it?
http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff300/Flame____King/newiggy.png
I really like this, it looks very original!
For the Backyard Area, I would remove the Birdhouse. It looks out of place and too large for the area. I like the fenced in area, and it's very unique! Move the Picnic Table, Barbecue, and Cooler up a tad so you can actually see them. Instead of Lava Lamps, I would use some kind of House Plants.
Now then, I would suggest getting some type of flooring for your igloo. Make sure it fits with your theme, I would recommend Cherry Hardwood or the Bamboo flooring.
For the "Bar', I would use the same type of tables throughout the entire thing. Also, I think Kitchen Sinks look like a "Bar Counter" when turned the other way. For the closed Pantry, I would replace it with a Fridge. Replace the Ice Table with another Purple Table. Also, instead of the Mexican Rug I would use a Green Rug. If you have a Picture Frame (Penguin in Sunset), I would recommend putting it on the wall above the place where the Purple Table currently is. Just see how it looks, if it doesn't look very good, just remove it.
8/10 Great!
I have had this movie theater igloo for a long time now. I need help changing it to make it better/new. Any suggestions?

I remember your igloo, Tortoli. I've always like the creativity that this igloo had. This is just my personal input on the igloo, remember you don't have to change it if you don't want to.
-First Floor-
I realize that you like the Posters because they resemble Movie Posters. The only thing is they don't exactly look very good. They are overtaking the igloo and that's the first thing that you look at. Turn the Cash Registers the other way, unless the customers are coming in from the other side? Once you remove the posters, move the TV back in the middle. Place a Orange Lamp in between the Orange Couches, and perhaps even lay down a Orange Rug there also.
-Second Floor-
I think it would match the Red colored theme if you put up Medieval Banners behind the TVs (2). Take away the Penguin Band Poster. Place the Big-Screen TV on the bottom where the Bamboo Chair on the right is. Turn it around so it's diagonal and facing the entrance. Again, place the Chairs around it like it was before. This just makes it so people can actually see that TV.
9/10 Super!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
P.S. Basketcase; A few animated objects are not going to create that much of a lag. It's only if the user has many many animated items. Which in Tortoli's case, that is not true. Also, I just visited his igloo and it didn't have any lag to it.

Your welcome. Yes, I also like the posters but they are too large for the igloo.
And, I think you should try putting one behind each TV. But, if that's too spaced apart, then do a small row of Medieval Banners. (Just behind the TV's)
Okay, here's how I think your Chairs and Big-Screen TV should be postitioned. A picture will explain itself. I only have one Bamboo Chair, so just pretend that the chairs are Bamboo Chairs as well.

Hello Gapti, very cool idea! Here I'll just try to expand your ideas without changing the overall igloo too much.
First, I would recommend getting a flooring for your igloo. I would recommend the Cherry Hardwood or Bamboo Flooring.
-First Floor-
I like the enclosed private Garden, very creative! I would take away all the plants behind the Wheelbarrow: Flowered Pot, House Plants, Large Plant. Then take away the plants beside the Bird Cage: Ficus Plants and Snake Grass. Then just put one House Plant on both sides of the Bench. That's all you need, any more and it will overcrowd the area.
Now, take away the Blue Gym Mat. If this area is indeed your private quarters, then you shouldn't need a Regal Chair. Remove the Regal Chair. Then in front of the Royal Throne, put a Study Desk of some sort. If you want, put the Chess pieces on both sides of the Desk. Underneath the Desk, you may want to put a Red Gym Mat. Near the Desk, you may want to put a small Lamp. (The one in the Catalog)
-Second Floor-
Near the Bookshelf, replace the Kitchen Chair with a Green Chair. Then underneath this area put a Green Rug. Take away the Piano, it doesn't belong. I like the Dancing area, it looks nice for the most part. On the other side of the Homestereo I would add a CD Rack (so it matches the other side). Remove the Big-Screen TV.
I think that's it! Just a few things to change, but it's really pretty good! Keep the creative juices flowing!
7/10 Good!

Nice igloo.
Backyard- Remove the lava lamps going up the stairs. Also move up eveerything that's not in that little area [plants, bench, koi pond] up a bit so we can see everything.
Inside- Try replacing that table all the way on the left with the same style table as the rest of them. Shift the tables up a bit so the table all the way on the left doesn't stand on the igloo wall. Try to make the two tables that you eat at the same kind of table; it looks unbalanced.

I'm ready for summer!
This looks really nice, not much things to improve here!
-First Floor-
To fit your Summer theme, you may want to switch the couches to Inflatable Couches or perhaps the Yellow Chair next to the Umbrellas.
-Second Floor-
(I just noticed, it looks like your Puffle is stealing some Chips & Salsa!)
On a more serious note, I can only see one thing to change. I would take out the Counter-type furniture that is on the far right in the kitchen. (It's above the Pantry) Besides that, there is nothing else that's wrong with your igloo!
9.7/10 Superb!

I have redone my igloo and I want to now if I can post it because in the first forum it says to only post your igloo once.
I have made a igloo album[see sig] to post your igloo in and I was wondering if that was ok with you

I liked the origninal igloo better.
What I was trying to say was on the first floor, replace the Coffee Shop Couches with the Yellow Chairs. (Then, it will be 2 Yellow Chairs with the Umbrellas next to them.)
Take away all the other stuff you added, it looks okay, but not as good as the first igloo you posted.

UPDATE:
I replaced the top 2 beach chairs with the leather couches again.
The orange inflatable chairs are too big and bulky, and i think they ruin the igloo.

I think that you have redone it well, but one more thing that I would do is I would space the coat racks further apart, and move the white horse chess piece down slightly, because it looks like it's on top of the stereo.

It has improved, good job!Take away the Small House Plant on the stairs. And in the Garden, I would take away the Large House Plant behind the Small House Plant. Move the Stereo things down so it's not overlapping the White Knight Chess piece.
Besides that, it fits your theme quite nicely.

Nice igloo. I'd say maybe make it a hang out area- maybe get the 2 coffee shop (brown) couches and place them in there with the orange rug in the middle, and maybe the coffee shop table in between? It really depends. What's your theme?

Since you are going for the Summer theme, I would put a pool. Maybe outline it with a furniture such as Snowballs, and then use Blue Mats and the Waves inside. You could make an island inside with snowballs and then put a Palm Tree. Just be creative with whatever you choose to do.
You may get some good ideas if you tour around other penguin's igloos.

These kinds of igloos generally don't look the best, because they are cluttered with tons of the same item. I am not going to ask for you to change the theme entirely, but I would suggest it. I will work with what you have though.
There's not much to improve if this is the kind of igloo you want. I would add a few red balloons on each side, but that's about all you can do. (Taken that you want to keep the TV's and such)
It might also look good if you removed the bottom speakers (that row) and replaced them with the Red Couches. It might look a little more spaced out that way.

I like this igloo, it looks nice!
The bottom floor looks terrific, nice job! The only thing to improve is the garden, it's too cluttered. Maybe try using smaller plants?
The top floor could use some flooring, right now it is too plain. Take away the small fan on the bottom. And, in between the two chairs, you might want to put something small. It would give them distance. Also, the Palm Trees are out of place, you should use a smaller plant.

As much as I hate to say it, it would look better without the Rare Flower Pot. I do like the little reading spot, it looks very personal.
I also think that you should take away the CD racks next to the DJ Table. It doesn't look good with the empty space behind it. Usually I add the Home Stereo behind it, but you have that in a different spot. You may want to get rid of all the Dance Mats and just get the Dance Flooring. Or, keep the Dance Mats and get Bamboo Flooring (or a different flooring) underneath. The flooring right now is too bland and boring, you need something to spice it up.
I like the overall igloo. 8/10
Chinstrap, I don't think that outside input is allowed. There are specific hired workers for this thread, and we had to apply for the job.

Uhhh...Hmmm...Remove all of the dance floors apart from two. Put one in front of the stereo area and another in front of the DJ area. Just put one barbecue at the bottom. Other than that, it's good.

Okay, cool! I like the upper floor, especially.
-First Floor-
The pool needs to be outlined with something, maybe snowballs? Take out the Flower Pot next to the side of the fence. Remove the Tubes and Ficus Plant in the very back. Either fence in the entire backyard, or not at all. I would take away all the fencing.
-Upper Floor-
As much as I think that fountain looks cool, it needs to go. Take the Green Rug from underneath the couch away. It looks pretty good for the most part!

Okay, there's not much to change here. I really don't like these kind of igloos, but I will try to go along with your theme. With so many TV's, it makes it too laggy.
Since there isn't much space to work with, the only thing I can suggest is with the balloons. I would add the other color balloons to match the Dance Floor. (ie: Red, Yellow, Blue..)
It looks good if you are looking for the small Dance Room kind of igloo.

Hmm, I have some ideas!
-First Floor-
Move the blue Cooler next to the Grill. Right now, it's under the chatbar. Put the Surf Towel underneath the Yellow Chair.
-Second Floor-
Remove the recycling bin. Put a small House Plant on both sides of the stairs. I see you have a rounded desk, and I think you should build off of that. Put a chair behind the rounded desk, and put the small Lamp next to the table (turn it on too). Take out the Grey Puffle Bed. Instead of the LCD TV, use a Big Screen TV. Use an Orange Rug in front of the Couch to make it look better.
I think that's about it. 6/10 Above average.
I edited my above post. Sorry about inconvenience. (Or however you spell it.)
Nut, pretty cool, but could use some help.
-First Floor-
Not much to change here. If you have camping chairs, you could use those also.
-Second Floor-
Okay, take away the Orange Rug in front of the stairs. Put a Mexican Rug underneath the Table. Move the Stove thing over to the right. (So that you can move the Coffee Shop Plant back) Get that little Home Stereo out, I see it hiding behind the plant. Take away the Barrel and Coffee Bag too. In this extra space, put a Piano (that can be your source of music). In the lower corner, take away that Counter and Plant. You can put a House Plant on both sides of the couch. I would suggest turning the Couch around so you can see it.
Also, you may want to consider getting some type of flooring.
8/10 Needs some help, but good.

Okay, let's see here.
-First Floor-
I like this! Just move the Lounge Chairs and Table in the back, farther back. (But not much)
-Second Floor-
Take the LCD TV on the wall away. Instead of the Jukebox, I would put another Rare Flower Plant here (if you have another one). Take out one of the Tables, it is not needed. Put some chairs around the table, and put it more in the middle. I would put a Mexican Rug underneath the table. Turn the Kitchen Appliances around. Put the Sink next to the Fridge, and then the Stove next to the sink. Turn them so we can SEE them.

Um, well, you should have picked a theme and THEN come to me. Right now, you just have a ton of items mixed together. I will try my best to help you out though.
-First Floor-
Take out the Recycling Bin and Coffee bag. Put the umbrella more behind the Lounge Chair. Take out the Cactus, and put a different chair in it's place.
-Second Floor-
Take out the Security Camera. Put the Sunset Paiting where the Security Camera was. Take away the Spiderweb. Put a Blue Chair (if you have it) next to the Bookshelf. Remove the House Plant, and replace it with the Recycling Bin from across the room. Take out the Cactus on the bottom.

Take out the Coat Rack and replace it with another Ficus Plant. Take out the all the Lava Lamps, Fan, and Rare Flower Plant. I would take that Ship in a Bottle (on the wall) and put it in the spot where the LCD TV is. Which means, take out the LCD TV.
And yes, choose a different flooring. Maybe, Bamboo Flooring?

-FIRST FLOOR-
Take away the Purple Sculpture and replace it with a Rare Flower Plant from the other side.
-SECOND FLOOR-
Take away the TV above the fireplace, and replace it with the Sunset Painting. Take away the Christmas lights, they are really unneeded. I would put Speakers on both sides of the Home Stereo. And because I said to move the Sunset Painting, I would put something in this spot. Maybe you could use the Curved Desk, Lamp, and Recycling Bin to make a Study area.
If you have another Pink Beanbag use that instead of the Yellow Chair.

Wow, well it does need some work.
-FIRST FLOOR-
Take away the Snow Clump. Switch the middle Yellow Chair with the Wooden Lounge Chair. Put the Umbrella behind the Lounge Chair. I would put 1 flamingo on both sides of the Bench. Take away the other 2 completely. Make a little bit bigger of a garden on the bottom, and enclose it with a fence. Just work on organizing this backyard, it's really the weak spot of the Igloo.
-SECOND FLOOR-
Pretty decent job on decorating this part of the Igloo! Where the Home Stereo is I would add a Dance Mat on the floor if you have one. Instead of the Inflatable Orange Chair I would use another Bean Bag. Put another Ficus Plant on the other side of the stairs.
That's about it, good job.

Thanks for the advice.Yes I know I went overboard with it because I was experminting with it and wanted to now what you think of it so far.

Here's mine.

What is the theme to this, it seems very unorganized.
-FIRST FLOOR-
I have no idea why there are Green Chairs in the backyard but if you want them then keep them. Take out the fence on the stairs. Work on making this more organized and it also needs something extra because it is empty.
-SECOND FLOOR-
Remove ALL the White Plastic Chairs. Put a Small House Plant on both sides of the Stairs. Get some type of flooring, I would suggest the Bamboo Flooring. Take away the Ice Knight, Green Banner, Security Camera, and fan. Where the Green Banner was add another Palm Tree. Take out the LCD TV and put the Clock there.

Here's my igloo:
http://img519.imageshack.us/my.php?image=iglooag9.jpg
Uh, did you even read the guide? This needs some serious help, man.
-FIRST FLOOR-
Take away ALL the fencing. Put the fencing on the OUTSIDE around the edges and enclose the garden. Take away all the little plants inside the garden, put some more actual garden plants in there (tomatoes, corn, watermelon). Take away the Green Lounge Chair and Bench. Put the Umbrella actually behind the Yellow Chair.
-SECOND FLOOR-
Take out the Basketball net and put the Kitchen in this area. Turn around the Fridge so we can see it. Remove the Home Stereo and put a small Blue Chair in that area. Remove all Puffle Furniture and the Fan, it's so unorganized. You may want to put a Piano and a bench in this area for your source of music. Instead of the Regal Chair and Throne put Red Beanbags there.

Yeah I kinda just put everything everywhere, I'll post what it looks like later.
Edit: Before I post the picture, I don't have a paino so I put a drum kit there instead. Plus I only have one red beanbag so I don't know if that will fit in with everything.

Ahh I remember the good old days of being a member/having an igloo. I had an awesome igloo! I made it to look like a house. I wish I could show you guys but I don't have a pic and since I'm not a member anymore..:|
It had a dining room, living room, lounge, study, bathroom, bedroom, and one of those fountain thingies! :D

Well, the CD Racks are still in the Furniture Catalog so you can just buy 2 of them. Put the CD Racks on both sides of the Home Stereo.
Also, if you have a Bamboo Chair, I would swap that for the Yellow Chair behind the desk.
It is a bit empty, but you can always move things around and think of new ideas. The Coffee Shop Plant also looks a little out of place, you might want to swap that for the Office Lamp.

-FIRST FLOOR-
Remove the table with the umbrella. Put an Umbrella behind that Lounge Chair. Move the fence in closer to the garden, there's a big gap. And finally, take out the birdhouse.

Almost!
Move the fence in closer to the dirt, or make the garden bigger to fill in the grassy spots. Rotate the Umbrella around so that it is facing back. And you might want to move the Lounge Chair a little bit closer to the Beach Ball.

First things first, get a flooring. I would suggest the Bamboo Flooring.
-FIRST FLOOR-
Are the lounge chairs supposed to be beds? Have you heard the trick where you can make a bed using snow clumps, rugs, and 2 couches? You can search it on Youtube if you would like to make fancier beds, instead of using lounge chairs. Take out the torch and coffee bag, put a small House Plant on both sides of the desk. Why is there a bunch of fish, and a Witch Pot? Remove these, they are unneeded. Think of what you would want an a hotel, you can put the Princess Wardrobes here or a Bookshelf. If you put a bookshelf, be sure to include a comfy chair.
-SECOND FLOOR-
Take out the torch and the Flamingo. Try and see if Paper Lanterns on the walls would look good. Remember that sometimes penguins will get bored with too many of one item.
I think it would be more interesting if you made the first floor a Reception Room/Waiting Room with a mini pool. The upper floor could have bedrooms seperated by fencing. Then you could create bathrooms, you could be creative. (I have done it before)
7/10 Good

What theme are you going for? And, it looks a little empty.
-FIRST FLOOR-
It needs something more, it's looking a little bit bare.
-SECOND FLOOR-
Add another CD rack on the other side of the Home Stereo. Move the Sunset Portrait directly overhead the desk and put another Coffee Shop Plant on the side of the desk. Put a Green Rug and some kind of table in the Green Furniture area. Take away the LCD TV. Instead, use a Big Screen TV (put it more in the middle of the wall) and put Orange Couches around it. And put the Orange Lamp in the middle of the couches. Use an Orange Rug on the floor.
Fill in those empty spaces, but keep it organized.

Confidence.
Personally, it's looking a bit laggy. Take away the inflatables and umbrellas on the first floor. I'm not really liking the Rare Flower Pot, or the Palm Trees on both sides of the (Bar) Counter. The Palm Trees overlap the other items, making it look cluttered.
9/10 Maybe you have had this igloo for too long and you're looking for a change?

Okay, I will only be talking about the Band Area, so don't get my words confused with other parts.
I think that the seating area would look better with only 2 rows of chairs. There are two extra chairs that are just kinda hanging out back there. Take away the Piano and replace it with the Guitar Stand (Click the Piano in the Furniture Catalog). You can change the guitar to which ever one you want.
