I was re-reading the rules, and notices something about this part here.

Spamming" is posting anything that doesn't add to the conversation in the thread. This is NOT a chat room, this is a forum; we ask that you please use proper grammar and spelling when possible and please do not post garbled messages to get more posts. Doing so will get you warned, and eventually banned.

In the "Posting Games" sub-forum, you say that post-a-thons and other posting games are allowed there. That forum seems to have a sign on it that says "Spam Here" on it. i thought post-a-thons and spamming were against the rules, but it seems to encourage it there.

I know that the post count is turned off in that section, but users still post in there, despite the fact that it is contributing to their post count. There is a thread in the forum called "The Random thread", which many users have spammed in. And I admit it, ive posted in that thread as well.

What im basically trying to say is that the forum rules are against spamming, but that section encourages it. Could a mod please clarify this for me?

I think that section is an exception.

It is a fun area, where you contribute to the post-a-thon. but post a thons are allowed as there is no post count. That is the main reason why they are not allowed. Also those threads get pruned too I think I heard RFS say.

Post counts are shut off in there. Doesn't matter.

I know that already, but wouldnt it still count as spam, even if the post count is turned off. Thats the part that puzzles me.

Pshhht, like rules are going to stop Club Penguin spam. Not even a set of Moderators and Administrators can stop Club Penguin spam.

May as well let them get away with their natural habits somewhere.

True, that is the whole reason why you got rid of the club penguin forums on miniclip, to cut down spam. I guess your right, my question is answered, you can close this thread now.
