On 2020 last night they talked about it. When it was first thought of, it was ment to save energy. But instead of that, people used more energy, because they were running air conditionings. Some people think it was so farmers could grow more. I don't get that though. There is still going to be the same amout of sun no matter what time it is.
I don't think we need it.

I don't think we need it, it's sort of pointless in my opinion.

It's just so the real time of day can match more with our own time measurings.

Without daylight savings time, we would be off a total of 2 hours each year. That would really mess up schedules for events at a certain time. Not to mention, if this happened every year for the next 5 years, our clocks could say 6am, and yet it is really the middle of the day.
So yeah, we need it.
