My Soul Is Alight...
My soul is alight with a burning flame,
And if I try to get it, it'll never be the same,
My soul is fragile and hard to handle,
My soul is a flickering candle.
My soul is alive with a beautiful light,
A light that brightens the darkest of night,
My soul is angelic and nice,
My soul is quite the opposite of ice.
My soul is submerged in the beauty of love,
It is a beautiful and elegant little dove,
My soul is easily bruised,
My soul is a young one, in need of being soothed.
My soul does not love, as it cannot,
I love because I can, and because I am love,
You cannot say that I am not,
Because you are my beloved.
