My heart was torn in two,
leaving your picture to remember you by.
The moments we've shared,
the love of it all,
the truest of love,
I'd kill myself to see you again.
My love for you,
will never leave,
your hope,
your kindness,
but now,
you're in heaven.
I sit here under the light of the full moon,
waiting for a sign,
a voice,
a sound.
As I kneel on the ground, putting your picture down,
tie it with ribbon,
and lay my head down,
to never reawaken again.
In heaven I'll see yu again,
when I get there,
your shining face will be enough,
to get me through the afterlife.
