I was thinking so but then I realized something. On one of the CPIP posts, Billybob said that they were going to use one of the new features of the new site to deliver our gifts to us. I also read the most recent blog post on normal Club Penuin (as of yesterday) that said that the new site would enable them to do new things with Club Penguin. So the wording of the latter post would suggest that in the future (following the launch of the new site) they could do the new things with Club Penguin that they were talking about, which would possibly include giving us our gift.
I could be wrong, the "new things being done to the site" could be solely related to releasing Club Penguin in different countries, but I am leaning toward the fact that we may not get the gift today.
