Redwall RP

ok so this is an RP of the Abbey of Redwall series. In this RP, you have to be some sort of animal: be it a mouse, shrew, badger, rat, fox, or anything else that isn't something ginormous like a whale or a goat. They have to be woodland creatures basically. So you can be vermin (rats, foxes, etc), or woodland (mouse, badger, etc.) and you can choose your own weapon. It has to be medieval weapons like axes, sword, or pikes. I'll start off the story.

Rules:
1: Kill people only with their permission
2: You're not invincible, so don't try to be
3: Sorry all you witches and wizards, but the only magic here are Seers and Martin the Warriors super strong blade

Sagax ,the Badger Lord of Salamandratrom, was going on a visit to the Redwall Abbey. It had been a few seasons since he had visited the great stone building.

Sagax came to the edge of the woodland and stood at the base of the south wall of Redwall.

*Cimmorene's voice was cut off by a loud crash somewhere in the Great Hall*

Sagax knocked on the great Abbey gates. A guard on the wall came down and let him in. when the guard saw him up close, he bowed to the badger lord and led him to Great Hall.

Guard: My Lord you are just in time. We are have a First Day of Summer Feast! It's tonight so your timing couldn't have been better!

Sagax: Thank you, youngbeast. What is your name? I'm going to have to tell the Abbot about your great shows of respect.

Guard: My name is Martin. My mother named me after the warrior himself.

Sagax: Okay, young Martin. I will save you a special seat next to me at the feast.

Riku the fox leads his troops towards the Redwall Abbey, and the creatures inside have no idea of what is to come.

Thinks: "Is that who I think it is? I've heard about the Sagax, the Lord of Salamandastron. Is that him?"

Sagax was helping clean up the mess, which had been a big band of Dibbuns trying to get some of the meadowcream. It ended up causing a chain-reaction that knocked over a few trolleys and spilled large amounts of food.

Sagax: What are all you naughty babes up to this evening? Stealing meadowcream, eh? Well, I'm going to have to cop your tail off and feed them to you since you spoiled all the feast fare!

This was all a joke, but the Dibbuns had never seen such a large badger. And he certainly sounded serious.

[pappadi]

Riku is suddenly surrounded by a group of small field creatures. "We're not afraid of you, big bully!" They said in unison. Riku just laughed and ordered his vermin to kill all but one of the remaining animals, a mouse. "You scum, do you know where the Redwall Abbey is?" "Y-yes, sir. It's just past this valley and east." the mouse stammered. "Good," Riku sneered, and impaled the mouse on his rapier.

You fail to realize I have a whole army at my command. I am only taking over Redwall with a fraction of my men. I come from a land past the Sea. Jeez, these RP's are fun!

Riku yelled, "Get up, you lazy scoundrels!" and slowly, the vermin in the tents begin to rise. "Prepare for battle!", the phrase echoes through the camp. All around, weapons are being equipped, shields attached and rusted armor screeching. Once the vermin were ready, they lined up in battle formation and marched towards the Redwall Abbey.

The Badger Lord snuck over very quietly for a beast of his size.

Sagax: Dascmaul you old bushtail! How's the abbey life softened your heart?!?

Dascmaul: Sagax you great striphound! You certain have became quite the mountain ruler. Not such a rascal now, eh?

*Cimmorene watched as they were talking, when she heard the loud crash again*

The first rat had unleashed a javelin into an upper window of the Abbey, past the gates. "Scale the walls!" Riku bellowed. Immediately, rats and other vermin started climbing up the wall and despite the guards' attempts to stop them, they got to the top and killed the guards, then raised the gate. "Attack!!"

Sagax heard it too. He tossed off his cloak and pulled out a massive battle axe. He ran to the wall tops, knowing it wasn't just unruly Dibbuns. When he got the wall tops, he saw a firelight in the distance. He ran back to the Abbot.

Sagax: We need to double the wall force. Equip them with all manner of weapons, anything close to paw really. We need slingers and archers. I really wish we had the Guosim with us now. those water-logged shrews shore would be a help right now.

*Cimmorene heard of what Sagax said, and grabbed a sling. She had never used one before, but she did have really good aim and was determined to help.*

*Cimmorene ran up to the walltops, with her sling in hand. She started firing down, but missed everytime. She tried again, and she hit a rat from below.*

Sagax started looking for worthy warriors. He saw Cimmorene's disappointed look. He went over to the mousemaid.

Sagax: Don't worry yourself young one. It seems that there are enough vermin that even a blind old hare with a feast under his snout could hit a few of them. Now, let's attack from the wall tops.

Sagax quickly searched around and found a yew longbow with a quiver full of arrows.

Sagax: Well, there's more than I thought. This obviously isn't you normal woodland troupe. We better fight like wildbeasts.

*Cimmorene heard what Sagax said, and fired her sling faster. She missed some more again, but hit some rats here and there.*

Cimmorene looked at Sagax, and in the torchlight saw red in his eyes. Sagax Had the Bloodrath. Sagax set aside the bow and drew his battle-axe.

Sagax: Cimm, I'm going in there. You be in command here, at least until we find a Skipper of otters. But you've got a smart head on your shoulders, so command us well.

With that, he ran down the stairs and into the fray, slaying anybeast foolish enough to get within his axes range.

"Great, I have no experience in commanding, especially most of Redwall."

Sagax was at the main abbey gates. He slammed them shut with the help of a few guards. He and the guards slayed the rest of the vermin in the abbeygrounds. The creatures of the abbey were safe for a while more. Sagax put away his axe.

Sagax: Well, now we can have that feast now, eh buckoes?

*Cimmorene was still nervous, and decided to go see Sagax. She ran down the steps, and onto the Abbey grounds.*

Riku was tromping back to the vermin headquarters with the remaining vermin and were met at the huge camp by a row of vermin all nodding their heads, not daring to say anything. "Boys, we have the Lord of Salamandastron!" Wild cheers went up around the campground and the remaining vermin got ready to march back to Redwall.

As she does, Griffwas outside rouseing his crew "Go away! you arent captian without a boat!" shouted Griffs first mate. Griff layed him with a shove "you challange me,Kirk?" he asked with a grin on his face

Edit:when all the otters were up and ready Griff told tehm the purpose for awakening them so early in the morning "we are going to get back our badger lord! we will fan out a first find the vermin camp,then find away to get sagax back" they set off by the west gate

The otters were just swift shadows in the forest. Soon though they found the vermin camp, they also found sagax caged in the back of the camp. "alright" Griff wispered "half go to the far end and half stay with me,then the first half charge in and the second half grab Sagax and we get out of here and back to Redwall"

The Long Patrol is marching through the woods barefoot when they come across some otters. "I say, whadd'ya doin' round' these parts?" Riku the leader of the patrol says. The rest of the Patrol, maybe fifteen or so hares surround the otters with some sort of cage containing..the Lord of Salamandastron himself!
