The War of Rovenful (Part I:Battle Cries)

[Phrax]

Intro:

"Your Highness, I have a feeling in which I have to beleive that you do not like the king. Instead I feel you like another."

Queen Farr raised her head, a dark glow filled her eyes.

"What do you know? You are a simple Court Jester. I think you shant stick your nose where it dosn't belong."

She pointed a bony finger to the side and drew it across her neck.

"Please miss, I didn-"

Two guards dragged him away and into the dungeon. Silence filled the room. Then a scream chorused throughout the grand hall. Then the quite had returned.

"She what?!"

King Farr picked up his mere squire by his ruffles.

"She ran away to King Eaton. She will not return."

"That fool has been stealing everything from me! My villagers, me livestock, and now my Queen! He has gone to far!"

The squire trembled.

"Ready my armor and gather my army. Send word to our allies in the Castles of Valken and Tresthroth. King Eaton will fall!"

*Taylon walked down the long stretch of corridor until he came to a large wooden door. He pushed the door open without even bothering to knock.

"King Farr, the Calvary is ready. We ride tonight towards Aikmia Village. From there we head straight to the Grey Woods. King Eatons Elite Battalion is encamped there for a whole week. We should be there before sun down tommorow."

[Mustachio]

*A clumsy knight runs down the hallway into the doorway. He pants.*

Gordon: One of the horses ---- lost control ---- and ---- escaped the corral with the rest ---- following.

"Darn you! that was no accident. There must be a traitor in our midst."

*Sir Taylon walks out of the room*

*Knight (Sir?) Goron follows him*
Goron: So, how've you been, old pal? We haven't talked since you left before me to become a knight.

"I have been doing quite well. I have rosed through the ranks and now am the Commander of the King's Calvary. But now things have gone downhill for my horses have disapeared."

*Turns corner and exits the main door*

"Are you going to fight in the war Gordon?"

[Mustachio]

*Gordon laughs*

Gordon: Well, there's nothing else here to do except train but Kane (the instructor) infuriates me. At least I'll be able to get away from him for a while.

[Phrax]

*Walks to combat grounds*

"You think Kane is a problem? Just wait until you advance to a higher level in training. You will have me to worry about."

[Mustachio]

*Laughs again and pats Taylon on the back*

Gordon: Heh, heh. I don't think we'll have a problem, Taylon. We've been best friends since our mothers met at our births. When I become as good as you, we'll do great!

[Phrax]

*Thinks for a second*

"Would you like to go get some ale (it's a drink) with me?"

"Lets head to the North Gantry. We are about to march the Ridge."

*Finishes ale quickly and stands up*

Battle of Riverfall Ridge

*Metal clanged against metal, arrows soared through the night sky, bodies dropped faster than stones*

"Till the death!"

*Taylon shattered a mans wooden sheild, then speared him twice over with his own spear*

*Gordon stood on a hill above the battlefield. He fired an arrow at an enemy, hitting him in the stomach. Gordon leaped dwon from the hill, pulled out his sword, and stabbed the enemy. He cheered.*

Gordon: YEAH!

*Taylon sweeps his enemies legs beneath him and plunges his blade into his neck. He spins around, parries a thrust, and counter-attacks with a fist to the head followed by a stab in the heart*

"These barbarians never learn."

Gordon: Alright, I'm coming.

*Gordon runs through a group of warriors, slicing as many as he can. He makes it over to Taylon. They become surrounded and pushed back-to-back.*

*Taylon brung down his sword, making a wedge shaped cut in his enemies head*

*Gordon is hit down by a giant muscular warrior. He is knocked out as he falls to the ground. The warrior lifts up Gordon's sword and prepares to stab him.*
