Here's a poem that I wrote a couple of months ago. I've been meaning to show you guys, so I will show you before I forget again.
It's meant to be a bit of an uplifting, but yet depressing poem.
The Perfect World
Blue is for serenity- the peaceful rolling waves
Yellow is for hope-the shooting star you wish upon
Red is for fury-the blood in which it attracts
Green is for flourished-a sign of springtime
Purple is for nobility-the deep royal to light magnificence
Orange is for radiance-the scorching sun’s heat
Black is for sophistication-its formal invitation
Brown is for plentiful-the soil soaking up the water
Crayons are all different, unique
Some are sharp and beautiful,
While others are ugly and dull
Some are considered a favorite color,
While others remain untouched
We should mimic the box of crayons,
Living in a world of peace
Without racism or prejudice
Just as crayons do
It’s hard to imagine that the perfect world,
Lies inside an ordinary crayon box.
