Did anyone else think how rubbish the egg hunt was this year?

Well? I did, no effort at all. They never gave you clues; then told you where they were. Also this year they also changed stuff to fit them, I remember the first year they did it they had them fit into stuff already there if that makes sense.

Like the flag at the snow forts... remember when you had to click to make it pop up?
Or the painting in the book room? Even when it was in the light of the Pizza Place. And the clues were hardish. Not this rubbish? I mean honestly I would of liked to see a little effort.

It was probably Disney. For the first two years Disney was not near CP but in 08 they are. Maybe it wass Disney

Sorry Iamyellow, but I have to disagree. This month Club Penguin gave us really a lot of things: St. Patricks party, Easter Egg Hunt and April Fools party coming soon. We also had a great Sub-Marine and Fiesta party last months, so I don't think this year of egg hunt is rubbish.
No matter how hard the egg hunt is, it's always interesting to me and I have to say that the eggs were hidden pretty hard, considering this is a game for kids between 8-14.

I acctually thought that the egg hunt was quite hard (other then the ninja egg, thanks to Rsnail & Screenhog), I was being so stupid when it got the egg at the dock....I was clueless :P
Anyway, I thought it was very cleverly done, the way that all the eggs were disguised as normal objects on CP, esspecially the Puffle egg at the pet shop. Mind you, I guess I can't really be saying all of this, because I haven't been to the other egg hunts, but I have been to halloween candy hunt, and I thought that it was easier then this.

I Was on last years hunt and it was way harder then this but the one in the Dojo is abit hard to catch but think of the kids that are aged 7-12 it could be really hard for them...

The scavenger hunts are always this hard, its not the hunts that are changing its us and the way we think. As we grow older our brains become smarter and we think in a logical way, that looks different, whats the over there? When we get older in club penguin we will notice things that are different or suspicous and we will find the eggs easier. Also with the clues, as we become more knowledgeable about club penguin and we get older the clues will be easier to understand and translate.

this egg hunt was easy for me ;) ... it took only 5-10 mins to find all the eggs... but the 8th egg was a tricky one...

i hate this years egg hunt. i wasent here in the 2006 egg hunt (the very first one) but i was here last years 2007 egg hunt (the 2nd egg hunt)

i remember last years egg hunt. it was wayy better then this one. the egg's were more harder to find and it was more exciting. while this years egg hunt is too easy. the clues are like telling you excactly were it is. The tricky one is only the 8th egg but thats it.

It was decent, but not hard. I found about half of them without even seeing the hints. But it was fun finding them anyway.

Last year, they actually HID them. They didn't add them in somewhere easy to spot. I liked it last year when it was harder to find them. I finished this one in about 3 minutes, each one was easy to spot and not hidden very well. Remember last year? They hid them in places you wouldn't usually check, like the one in the Boiler Room, you would put your mouse over the drawer next to the old newspapers. It was just a lot more fun last year.

Even with the guides last year, I needed extra help. I bet you though, the kids who don't get the guides (the younger kids) complained saying they couldn't find them. And that's not a situation when you can go ask your parents for help.

I agree. For example, the "mountain room"(aka. dojo) one was super easy for me because I started CP last August. I saw lots of noobs in the town asking,"Where's the mountain room?"

It all depends on how old your penguin is and how often you go on CP. Sum1 who joined 3 days ago could have played 8 hours a day and completely memorized CP. Also, sum1 who joined 2 years ago could have only played for 20 minutes since joining, so they don't know where anything is.

I think they did an OK job.

They tried to make it different from last year. This time, they actually disguised the eggs as objects from the game. It made it interesting and different.

Come on, give them a break. They have 3 different parties to cover this month.

And for the people who complain about it not being "eastery" enough: They NEVER decorate rooms for Easter. They just have an Easter Egg Hunt.

I hope next year they don't come back with the Bunny Ears again. I hope they have re-colored Bunny Slippers or a Easter Basket.

My 9 or 10 (i forgot lol) year old brother finished this just as fast as me. There getting easier and we're getting stupider...

Yes the hunt is rubbish. But that does not mean it's Disney's fault. Disney have just helped CP get more merchandise, members and most importantly money. You can't have a go at Disney for everything that goes wrong in CP.

The hunt this year was pretty easy; the exception would be the dojo which took me something like four tries to get :O)
