Sewer gators are icky icky nasty but I know under that layer of human murk there's something just as cute as my avatar. I blame all the stupid tourists who think it's cool to get pet alligators in Florida and then flush them when they get too big, I'd like to punch them in the throat.

Sewer gators are pretty prevalent in pop culture and society, there's a gator boss in one of the Resident Evil games that you fight in a sewer. As nasty as it sounds, I am going to say "true" because I know there are stupid awful people out there.

Alligators can't live in the sewers, for long at least. There's no sunlight necessary for reptiles to metabolize. They'd die a pretty nasty death of gut rot. :(

Many people would consider to be warm-blooded creatures instead of cold-blooded reptiles that need to bask to digest food. This is likely because they don't fit the defined body structure that is seen in all species of reptiles (neither did dinosaurs, both of them technically aren't reptiles, just close cousins).

I am in the middle on that issue though. :P ;)

Ouch, the key there I think in the word "prohibited" as in past tense.
