From the sixties, to the nineties it is quite easily the greatest anime of all time; defying all laws of human intellect with the cheesiest lines such as the imfamous repetitive gasping from the crowd and the drivers, and the unbelieveable ability to miraculously cram five paragraphs into a three-second sentence.

And yeah, the movie is coming out. :cool:

They are coming out with a new one, on Nicktoons Network. I think its Anime too.

I don't really see it as anime. Larry Schwarz (creator of Kappa Mikey*, Leader Dog [short toon], Tortellini Western [short toon]) is in production with the show, and, as you have seen in the preview, does not really qualify as "anime" standards; waaay to americanized.

* Fun Fact: If you look carefully to the opening credits, you can see a more elderly version of Speed Racer.

Yes. Its supposed to be the story of his son. Thats why its the NEXT Generation. But I just wanna see how it turns out. I REALLY dont want them to mess it up.
