Help Making Sprites?

How do you make Sprites from scratch? In MS Paint too? if you can find a guide online, that'd be great, thanks!

Hmm well I can't really explain but if you want to see an example I did in MS paint and zoom in here's Luigi:

The trick is to make a palette, go to colors-->Edit colors-->Define custom colors in MS paint and choose the colors you want and make 3-4 different shades of them. Then start to shade around the edge with the darkest color and go from there. And if the details are too subtle, don't be afraid to create some major contrast.

Thats ok, but I was more looking for making my own. Like creating them from scratch (not the program Scratch, from nothing but a window in paint).

You just make a canvas and paint there is no particular way to do it its just painting.
