Is rockhopper an NPC?

this has had me confussled for a while now;) im sure rockhopper isn't a NPC (non player character) but is he or is he a staff member?

Rockhopper is controlled by a Club Penguin staff member. He is NOT an NPC.

If he is a NPC, how can he be moved? He has a player card, NPCs are the band etc. etc. ;)

Sometimes, as nightmare said, Rockhopper is a robot that walks around doing what he has been programmed to do. Lately, he is more of a live person who responds intelligently to what you say or do to him. He is NOT an NPC; to be an NPC, he'd have to constantly stay in one place, giving instructions or speeches to everyone at once, which he does not do.

I now request this thread to be locked, please.

Sometimes he's a bot, sometimes he's a person. :)

Sometimes he is. Thats how there is two of him online at once. One's a bot, and one's a cp staff member

Rockhopper is never a bot...he was a bot when we could meet him in the old days but now the Staff have updated him...If you look carefully, Rockhopper doesn't say stuff as soon as you ask him something, he responds like after 7 seconds...

edit: Well actually there isn't a big crowd or something, there's just some rare penguin called Wiggles32 and he/she has got a small crowd. Maybe if you log off and come back on you will see

Yes, that's right. He was a bot before Disney bought Club Penguin. Since they can spare an extra person to control him, he's no longer a bot.
