Ran
A story by the one and only, Zmac.
I must warn you, there will be gore, and blood in this story. The first chapter, most likely will not be all that bad, but the coming chapters will. So if you are squeamish please don't read.
Chapter one:
She ran home as fast as she could, to get away from all of the laughter, all the pressure, and all the humiliation that she faced at school. She burst through the doors crying, as she usually did, but this time... it was different; she wasn't crying. She ran upstairs and slammed the door behind her, almost having to hold herself from tearing out her "notebook" and write the names and deaths of everyone at that bloody school. She sat at the desk and grabbed the notebook carefully. After which she threw the old and worn bookbag into the corner. She looked at the name "Death Note". She remembered that odd Anime of a few years back... thinking how she would become the widely known, and praised "Kira". She wrote the first name. "Josh". She didn't specify a way of death, or time, knowing that it would just kill him with a heart attack. Here was where she was wrong.
She walked into school with an accomplished look on her face, feeling powerful. Someone stepped behind her and said "Hey weirdo, why the happy face!?". She turned to see Josh, the same boy she had written in her notebook the night before. "Oh... no reason.. I-I just...." Josh had tripped her before she could say anything. Her books fell onto the floor making a huge mess. He laughed and walked away with that smug smile that he always had on. "I hope you die.." she said with an evil look behind her hair. He turned to say something but stopped. His eyes turned gray, and his body turned pale. She thought this is it! He stumbled back and looked up to the ceiling with an expression that showed fear and anguish. She picked up her books and looked up to see what was happening. Blood began to leak from many places on Josh's body... which eventually led to his torso exploding.
She couldn't believe what she just saw... "This is nothing like what was supposed to happen..." she said quietly to herself as she ran from the scene. "Why did it happen like this?!" she yelled. She tripped over a rock and fell head first into a ditch. She got up wiping the blood from her cut arms thinking that today, when she ran home she wouldn't feel sad or angry. She'd want to do it again.
Thanks for reading the first chapter, if I get enough good feedback I will add more to it. And yes, I based it off "The Death Note" but added my own little twist to it.
