This is a peom I wrote last week with a friend, also on CP.

Home

This is a poem,
About home.

When I smell,
I can telll,
It's dinner time!

The smeel is nice,
It smells like rice.

The food id yum,
So lets have some rum.

My home is good,
Just like it should.

Well that's our poem,

I hope you won't be sore with me if I make a few suggestions.

Remember that rhyming doesn't always guarantee a wonderful poem - the meaning behind the words is always much more important that the rhythm or rhyme. That which compells you to write a poem should be the main interest throughout the entire piece - poetry is something that you should be able to take the words from and be left with a moral or the meaning which the creator was thinking of while writing it.

Sorry, but I have to agree with her, the poem doesn't quite make sense due to the rhyming and it seems a bit short.
