View Full Version : Where the name for this forum came from.

Believe it or not my unhealthy fascination with reptiles has spilled over into this subforum as well. I couldn't come up with a creative name for this anime forum when I added it so for a few days it sat as "Anime" (some of you might remember this). I had been playing some old PS1 favorites of mine, one of which was Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko.

I got far enough in the game and came to the level Anime Channel, and the name stuck.

I never bothered to take a screen cap myself so I managed to pull one from a YouTube video:

Enjoy this random useless tidbit of information. I think I'll go add "Spyro" into the name of the Playstation forum now. :cool:

Deep Cover Gecko? Is this game even available anymore?

If you have the disk for it you could sell it for like 50 bucks on the internet

No, it was a PS1 and N64 release.

Could I REALLY get that much for it though? :O I don't plan on getting rid of it, it's one of my absolute favorite games.

EDIT: That would be like getting me to sell Spyro. Not gonna happen. (I've got the original version of the first one too, not the greatest hits version or whatever.)
