I am sick and tired of all these people on servers(Mammoth/Frozen Mostly) Claiming they are famous. Its a childrens game You go on clubpenguin to chill hang out with mates ect. Not see how many penguins will follow you. So if you agree that fame should stop here Please Discuss in this thread. :scary:

Thats true. Fame never stops in this game, there are too many blogs. But it's not our fault, if you see Vital Viper or Paintboy100 in CP peoples will probably crowd them. But thats OK for me, I love crowds and parties. :)

Popularity is unstoppable. The only way to stop it is get rid of the blogs. Thats how Paintboy got famous. If you ask them it's a big fat "NO". Almost everyone on Cp plays for popularity.

I dont even know why you made this thread in the first place, we all know the people that say " I'm famous " are annoying, just press the ignore button on his player card, or just find a different server, thats what ya gonna get if you go to mammoth or frozen, mostly mammoth though

This is true. People play for fame a lot of the time. Now you pretty much can't go anywhere in Club Penguin or these forums without seeing someone trying to become famous. Club Penguin is not about fame, it's about Waddling around and meeting new friends ;). But now, almost EVERYONE is trying to become famous.

The basic knowledge that being "popular" in a kids game has a shallow purpose, and will not really do anything to your real life status usually comes with a brain.

However there is nothing wrong with pouring your feelings out. I agree completely, and would like to point out a major example of a person who aids such "popularity" chases

2 Bunny. really his post about "You are just jelous of them" were humorous, yet luaghing at his posts was not an easy feat when I realized he was serious

Because this rule was never revised:

-This forum is not about popularity, it's about making friends and having a good time talking about Club Penguin and other stuff. Please don't make polls about who is cooler or showing off how many posts you have or when you joined. New users can be just as cool as you, give them a chance too.

It needs to come right out and say that you shouldn't post about it :P

The rule speaks more about forum popularity rather than Club Penguin popularity.
