One day in school this viking expert lady came to the school and told my class that viking helmets were actually miths, they only wore them when battling, which I never knew :P. She passed around the helmet (which when I saw it I was like "OMG CP!", lol) and it was like, 20 pounds... designed for a man who weighed 300 pounds. And women didn't go into battles and wear viking helmets with those long blonde braids... lol, they wore bonnets. Just thought I'd share this piece of information with you.

Tell her she's wrong.
Vikings might not have used the Viking Horned helmet at all, other than for ceremonial purposes.

I don't really see anybody wear such a heavy helmet except for ceremonies. Maybe a war parade, but in a battle where dodging keeps your head on your shoulders, 20 pounds is enough for a meeting with the ... devil!

Viking helmets are not myths. Vikings wore helmets. The ones in CP are myths. The ones that were worn by vikings did NOT have horns on them. Viking appearance has been romanticized as history looks on it.
I know this because I am a descendant of Erik Thorvaldson.
