I have found a simple way to sell your book online, but if this is advertisement, I would like it locked.

Now, onto the "How to get it sold" part. If you use CafePress, you can sell the book in your store; yes, your book. It can be a comic book (NO CLUBPENGUIN COMICS), a bound book, paperback, etc. You pay a certain ammount for each page you have (i.e. $0.3 for a fullbound). You then are able to put your story onto the book pages, upload cover art and back art, then sell it for a marked up price. So, say the starting price for the book is $10.00 (from CafePress), you could make it $15.00 and gain $5.00 for each book you sell. CafePress will send you a check for the money you make. Anytime you want to recieve your money, you just choose to recieve it through mail, and you are sent a check.

Just wanted to share this for great writers!

This sort of thing, a vanity press type of sale, usually ends rather badly on the writer's part. Usually, I hear you end up putting more money INTO it than you get OUT of it.

With CafePress, that is likely, but you have the ability to mark the price up for other people. Like, say you put $10.00 into making a shirt. Well, you can change it to $15.00 and gain $5.00 every sale you make from the original price.

There is no "start up cost" with Cafepress as your publisher. The cost of the item is automatically deducted from the sale price, so selling a book that costs $10 for $15, you make $5 and you never have to touch the item itself. It is considered a vanity press, though.

I myself have a publishing deal with Copano Bay Books, but I have yet to even start working on my project (a satire book about video games)
