Who: EVERYONE is invited to participate.
What: A poetry contest!
When: It starts now. The deadline for entry is Febuary 2.
Where: Post completed entries, unformatted and centered in this thread.


Those are the basics, onto the more complicated matters.

Theme: Halloween.
Limitations: No less than 4 lines, no more than 30.
Obscenities: "H—" and "D–" are allowed. Anything worse is out.
Judges: REVENGE and Poetic.


Of course...Prizes!

This disturbing avatar. It will be personalized with your name, the watermark will be removed, and "Tears Poetry Winner" will be added.

The chill of night,

No way out,
Don't give them a fight,

Poetic and I judged this contest. If you're going to be a sore loser about it, it might do you well to actually read the first post the next time you enter something. If you respond to this by saying you DID read the first post, then you, in fact, already knew that no poll would be posted, and Poe and I would judge. People who make fools of themselves after losing a contest are those which shouldn't enter them in the first place. There's always next time - your poetry needs work, and if you can't accept that you may not be the best of poets in this thread, than perhaps you shouldn't be entering in any contests at all. Sore losers and people who whine are always a pain to have around, I'm sorry to say.

Everyone needs work on what they write. On what they do. Even Poetic and I can always improve, even the winners can always improve, because in whatever it is you do, there is always improvement to be had. Your poem was a very interesting read indeed - you don't have to be so defensive about there not being a poll when you know the real problem you're having is the fact that you didn't win. In all honesty, I think we both know that even if there HAD been a poll, the same two people would've won. There's always next time, so keep that in mind - practice, and you may win the next round.

In other words: Chill the hell out.

Me chill? Why me? Look at you. Look at your posts. All you had to say was don't enter if your going to be a sore loser about it. But then you drstcially take it to the next level beyond anything we need.
