Agreed:D I loved Dragon Ball Z. It was the anime of my childhood too. Lol, I got so excited when GT came on a few years ago. Too bad it was a disappointment.

Millions of fighters with brighter-than-the-sun hair, (where you can only tell them apart by how many points in their hair), robots meant to look like people, some guys raping crazy women, and kids running away from their homes in search of ballz that grant you wishes. :confused:

I think Goku was overrated and that Vegeta needed to win more. He was such an interesting character.

I remember watching DBZ. It was a really awesome anime. On Robot Chicken, there was this really funny Christmas Special with Goku and Gohan as the main characters. I love Robot Chicken too.:D

Dragon Ball Z was awesome. Sadly, Dragon Ball GT ruined the series. I used to watch the show everytime it was on. Never missed an episode.:cool:

Those are repeats. The series production ended in 1996 for the Japanese version and 2003 for the English version.

I love Dragonball Z, it was the anime I grew up with like a lot of other people have said in this thread. They annihilated the series with Dragonball GT, that was a mess. You know it has turned bad when you see Vegeta with a moustache. :rolleyes:

And the stupid buzzcut. Curse you, most hated GT. I liked Vegetas hair in DBZ, but I wonder what it would have looked like had he straightened it down. But Vegeta should have been portrayed better. Being beaten by almost all main villians and having Goku help him really didn't help his character and somewhat stained his reputation.

Dragonball (Z and GT included) was the most amazing and original anime ever made. I have a most of the Dragonball Z series on DVD.

Anyone going to try to decipher that?:)Why did they have to make GT? Everything about it stinks. They just asked the maker of the Dragonball and Dragonball Z saga to give them the animations. He didn't even help with the story! They just did it to make more money.:mad:

Yeah, Raditz was sick. Imagine his hair in SSJ3! And Nappa? Killed everyone! Nappa should come back...Maybe in AF(Read this Akira Toriyama)

I sure watched DBZ and liked it. But you have to admit that most fighting animes are much better. In DBZ most of the characters had similar fighting styles. Sometimes the series went for 10 episodes without any significant change in the plot! A major example is when Frieza told Goku that Namek will explode in 5 minutes, but it tool more than 10 episodes for it to explode!
BTW: Dragon Ball Z's animator also drew the portriats for the characters in Chrono Trigger!
