how come you can't share a forum account?

Because you gotta be 13 or older to be on the forum, and if your sharing an account with a little brother younger then 13, your account will get banned!

I don't know for sure, but probably because you have a different personality
and skills, like if you share it with your brother and he is good at GFX but
you aren't people might request GFX from you and then like you can't do it....

I don't know about sharing accounts on the Club Penguin game, as long as nobody is breaking rules that is probably ok.

However sharing accounts on the forums is not allowed at all.

what if the parents (2) of the same child both use the same forum account? Is THAT illegal here too?

Hmmm if your parents are posting here FOR YOU (usually they really have no reason to do so unless they are specifically wanting to talk to New Horizon Interactive, in which case they should email or call Club Penguin Support for a faster/better answer) then that's telling us that you are probably not of legal age to be using these forums.

This is quite a situation. If your brother posts something and you get an infraction, well, thats on your part. What are you two doing sharing an account anyway?

If you decide to share your account with people and get banned because of it, we are not going to unban you or reverse any infractions. Your account is your responsibility, not ours. It is your duty to have a secure password that you don't share and isn't easy to guess. Only in the event that there is proof that an account has been hijacked or taken over will we look into it further and fix the situation.

If you are sharing a member account, I understand.

But if you are sharing a non-member account, why not just make another account? Even if u are a member, it might help.

It depends. When it comes to paying memberships, their goal is to make more money, therefore, they put restrictions on accounts. For example, they say its illegal to share accounts, forcing them to open another membership account.

They strongly urge you not to share accounts especially a membership account. You should be the only person to know your own password. If anything happens to that account, its your own responsiblity.

Now family member sharing an account isn't advised. Just because...well, family sometimes do stuff they aren't supposed cuz they are family. Get into a fight with your brother, then they change your password...blah blah. I guess CP has no way of telling though, if you use the penguin on the same computer, its almost impossible to tell whether which brother is using the penguin.

If you were to share accounts with another friend which had membership, i would say it is against the rules. Its pretty much stealing membership. Its like sneaking cable to neighbor. Those people are getting free cable. Which is illegal.

My point is, i guess if its your brother, then you just have to be careful with the penguin. If you must share it, then i guess CP can't tell, but i don't advise sharing it with anyone else.
