My smudging looks NOTHING like yours. I can't finish the tut, I need to know why my smudging is like how it is. And the sharping the don't work.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm finished and happy at my result.:)

The text could use some work. Try making like the letter, "T" but size like 48 size, and border the text. Then hide the text layer, make a new layer, apply image, the press Cntrl Alt G, and unhide the text layer. Move around the applied layer.:)

That border ruined the whole tag. I'm telling you think right now, and should be put into your head before ending a tag, NEVER, make a border like that.
