Thanks! Great Job too! Just 2 tips!

-Use the Curved Line tool, not always you should use the pencil or brush tool. It makes it cleaner.
-Use the line tools instead of brush and pencil tools for outline (most of the time) then use the brush, pencil, and line tools combined to make natural looking shadows.

Any tips for me? :P(<Dont even ask why i keep using this at the end of every post, i just liked it since the begining of this forum:P)

Very good! 8/10!! Nice, just i cant see the mouth. Maybe make the skin tone a little darker and then make the mouth darker too.

Wakeboard, I think it is really good. A few things though is that maybe fix up the hat a bit because it looks like it is just sitting on top of his head, not like he is wearing it. And you should also finish the rest of his body! Oh, two more things. Make his lips and skin tone darker. 7.5/10.

As for the spongebob, it looks good but, why spongebob? :rolleyes: 8.5/10

Not half bad, I'd give him a 6.7/10 for a beginner, try adding some more shading onto it, and maybe some highlighting.

I made this for a friend on another forum, everything besides the hands, legs, and feet are scratch, I love the coloring of this, (As I recolored the hands, legs, feet, etc.) It's supposed to be a pokemon sprite.

I would rate it 5.5/10. Just because its not so detailed, just a few lines on it, but good work for a beginer! :P

Laxtster, it's not the best because there isn't much detail to it, and I think the shading is kinda weird. I like the shadow to it though! 5.5/10.

Well the shading is a bit of, its like lights all around but then there would be no shade.
Plus while commenting try not to be mean.

Very good! You missed the shading on the penguin, but otherwise, its great! 9/10!
Also, save it as a PNG instead of the default, because it makes it look more clear and its just better. :P

No I shaded it... Just I forgot to save it as a good quality file type, that's why you can't see the shading...

Thats pretty good

Ok sorry, well its not very good at all. Its a blob with shapes. 2/10. no shading, and the lines are messy.

Tips:
Use Line tools
Use shading
Use variety of poses
Mess with lines till they are perfect.

Well its ok for your first! But heres some tips:


Use the curved line tool. Its the best when it comes to curves!
So Try using it instead of the paintbrush.

Use the eraser to keep making lines perfect.

Take time, thats what most people dont understand. You must take as much time as you have to make it your best. Dont rush just because you want to get it done. Because if you take time, you will have a better overall ending project. Which will be better than a messy 5 minute picture.
